A few things:

-1- If you're trying to talk to females at the gym try a spinning or yoga class. They'll probably be more chummy and ready to chat as suppose to you hitting on them in between sets the the weight area. -2- If you want to talk to females at the mall try the food court on especially on days that are fairly busy like a Friday and Sat-urday afternoon. Sit somewhere where you can see everyone in the food court and chill for a few minutes, hopefully you have some friends with you. Make eye contact briefly and see which girls reciprocate. Also check for who girls that purposely sit close to you. They may be checking you out. One more thing. learn how to flirt! It's more important than any opener that you can learn. It's the main women communicate there are interest.

Battered women's shelters - If you like the "broken" types looking for their knight in shining armor this is the place for you. Just make sure to beat them a little every once in a while to set the tone and remind her she likes bad boys who play by their own rules. Just make sure you do it less than her previous men so you seem like a better catch.

The parking lot outside of Curves gym - They won't let you join, but that doesn't mean you can't oggle overweight, middle aged housewives from your car. Laying on the horn and yelling at them gives them a nice feeling of being appreciated.

Any dark alley - women like the mysterious bad boy. If you are darkly dressed and look dangerous this really helps. Make sure to follow them all the way to their destination to let them know that you are the kind of guy who doesn't give up easily, women admire this trait.

The women's room in any public place - Lots of women with the least amount of competition. Plus this frames you are the "plays by his own rules" type that so many women love. Make sure to have the scent of alcohol on your breath to let them know you are a fun kind of guy who doens't take himself too seriously.

Bra and Panty section of any clothing store - the key here is to sniff and lick them. It let's the ladies know you aren't afraid to show your interests and don't care who sees it.

I generally have a decent amount of success at the swimming pool. For one, girls go to the pool for a few of the same reasons that they go to bars: drink, look pretty for other girls, (and to a lesser degree, guys) and talk to guys. I also feel as though the pool has some of the best qualities of day and night game. Day game because it's not, generally, as loud as bars or clubs and besides the reasons presented above, people also go to the pool to tan, swim, play volleyball, etc. as opposed to solely meet members of the opposite sex; night game, for the reasons presented above.

I generally like to post up with a cooler and my Kindle in a spot akin to a good bar spot (decent traffic) and do some day-drinking and reading and wait for girls to sit next to me. From here, you can effortlessly change your post-up spot by "cooling off" in the water for a bit and utilize the exact same strategy (wait for other girls to come up to you). The only problem with this strategy is that, sans a giant pool, people are gonna notice approaches pretty easily and you could wear out your welcome if you are too aggressive, too persistently.

Obviously, being in decent shape helps tremendously, but worst case scenario, you get reading done, have plentiful scenery, (depending on the day and location) and can work on your tan a bit.
