You use "vos" instead of "tu", i guess you're in Argentina.

Yeah boliche is the popular argentine word for "club".

I've never heard "etiqueta" before.

Also I split this into its own thread since the topic is different.

But just to point out that in countries with the use of "voceo" or "vos" instead of "tú", it is used only among friends, if you are not, then "usted" or in the above case, "tú" is much more suited.

vos is conjugated differently than the tu form. I'm not sure about proper etiquette and what not but I never ever used nor heard the tu form while I lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Conjugating to Voseo is actually easier than Tu.

you simply drop the R off the end of the infinitive and put an S and add an accent to the end of the word.

Examples:
hablar "to speak" = tu hablas, vos hablás
comer "to eat" = tu comes, vos comés
poder "to be able" = tu puedes, vos podés
vivir "to live" = tu vives, vos vivís
venir "to come" = tu vienes, vos venís

There is some irregulars, the must common one being:
Ser "to be" = tu eres, vos sos.



Also to learn Spanish, you HAVE TO do the Michel Thomas audio lessons. Seriously! They are a fucking goldmine. Your pronunciation will improve drastically and you learn all the grammar of the language in way that you will easily remember it. You can find them free on torrents or buy them off amazon or something. But get them somehow and listen to them. You can thank me later.
