It takes time to get used to using. by "its difficult to stay erect" your not saying you lose the pump are you? As long as I have good suction the pump stays until I remove it.

I'll throw my 2 cents in. I'm 22, bought the bathmate in March and did jelqing / bathmate intermittently (2x a week) until mid-July, when I started doing it more intently (2-3x a week). Then in fall I focused on it and was doing it 4x a week for September / October. The bathmate works. But I tell you, even though it is a simple device, there are an amazing amount of variables that will determine how your grow from it.

I found using vaseline helps immensely. You also should try to not let your balls get sucked in. But if this happens, you need to keep using the bathmate until it eventually doesn't suck a ball in etc. This day will come.

If you have difficulty getting erect, put it on, and pump. Take it off, do it again. Then once you have more blood flow and a heavier dick, you can get it erect easier.

But I don't think going in erect is so important. As long as you can get a pump going on, you are doing good.

Yeah. I actually noticed that when I took months off, and then started using it again, I got better results. I think sometimes your dick needs a break to recover. I also think that if you pump a lot, it can make your dick "tougher" and harder to stretch. So when you take a break from the bathmate your dick sort of relaxes and loosens up.

Tips: coat your dick in vaseline. Yeah I know it sounds like a pain, and it will make your bathmate dirty and kind of hurt it eventually, but you will get better gains.
