Ive noticed at the mall and college bars there are a lot of girls who are 16-17 (yeah, fake ids are everywhere). If I'm at the park tossing a football around with a couple friends, I see a bunch of girls who could be anywhere from 17-19. But I always stop from even approaching because I'm terrified.

I know of a couple people who've had the cops called on them just for basically hollarin at a girl. No charges were pressed but they may very well could have been. Is my fear justified and should I not even bother approaching girls who appear 18-19ish? I mean it's scary how girls appear like freshman or sophmores in college but are in high school and even approaching them literally paralyzes me from all the potential legal risk, especially considering we know how much girls can lie and exaggerate shit.

If my fear of approaching 18 year old girls is irrational, how do you establish that they are indeed 18? Do you ask within the first 2 minutes their age? Do you ask what they're studying in college very early on? Any tips?

When they say they're under 18 how do you excuse yourself with some class?

I understand the age of consent stuff but I'm terrified of the whole "perv reputation" thing. That ain't a fun crown to wear being known as a perv.

So how do you figure out if a girl is 18? Because so many girls under 18 look AT LEAST 18 if not a few years older. Do you bringing up their age relatively early within the first couple minutes, or do you casually talk about if they're on holiday break from college? I guess I'm lookin for answers to a) how early on do you poke to verify their age, and b) what are some suave ways to find out their age rather just asking their age outright?

In college bros used to do something called the n-card check, where we would find an indirect way to have the girl show us her school ID. Otherwise delve a little bit into school, and decide that its a no-go if she says she's in AP anything.

Unless there's a significant age difference (10+years) between you and these possible 16,17, or 18 year old look a likes then I don't really see the harm in simply approaching & spitting your game. It isnt like you're stalking them or following them around like a sexual predator. You're not even fucking them for goodness sake. All you're doing is approaching & having a conversation. If through the conversation you find out she's underage then subtly make your exit-"Oh shit, Im late for work, it was nice meeting you ". It seems these days the word pervert has reached the same classification as creepy, it's thrown out in basically any context if a girl or guy doesnt like you for whatever reason. It's used as a nuclear weapon by females on guys with weak game or by female and male cockblockers to basically ruin a guy they dont like instantly. But like I said unless you're a really older dude dont sweat it too much and consider gaming other venues besides malls.

Haha i have a horror story to share.

From a few years ago...
I chatted up a bird on the bus. She was 5'9 large chested and had a nice face. AoC if 16 where i am. She tells me she is 19. I'm thinking awesome!
We chat about random stuff and gave her my number. She texts me the next day asking me to hang out after school. We make plans to meet at the strip mall near my house.
She shows up and we just wander and shot the shit. Then she starts getting weird, like super weird. Starts getting a call every 1 or 2 minutes. Next thing i know these 2 girls who looked way younger show up and start arguing with her. I say "I'll check you later" and remove myself from the situation. He friend starts yelling and screaming calling me a perv in the middle of this store. Saying "You know she's only 15 right?!"
At which point i leave, i dont even say a word.
The situation further went into the shitter because on my way home they started harassing me through text and leaving threatening voice mails. They wanted me to come to some park so their male friends could show me whats right and whats wrong etc
I ended up having my number changed about and hour later.

Moral of the story, just dont risk it. Even if you point blank ask them they might lie about it and jam you up after you already fucked them. Just dont. Not worth all the extra bs.

"girls, how far away is uc berkeley from here?

They answer the question = I continue chatting about college related stuff to confirm that they are out of high school.

They say they don't know = I continue chatting about college related stuff to confirm that they are NOT out of high school.

Or something like that. Basically, just talk about college and their response will tell you if they are in college or not.

You taking off like that made you look so guilty. You can diffuse situations like that by facing her and just saying "wtf? why didn't you tell me?"

The problem with that age of consent map is that some states have "close in age restrictions" that many of this forum would not meet and sex with a person of the minimum age would therefore constitute a felony. My state's is 16 but as far as I know if you are 6+ years older than that your ass is still going to jail.

Meh this happens a lot in Croatia, you'll be daygaming some girl and find out she's too young and just eject charmingly, it's very difficult out there to tell what age the girls are. For UK citizens our age of consent applies to us no matter where we are in the world even if the age of consent in that particular country is lower.

From what I know, a lot of states now recognize the defense of mistake -- if you reasonably believed that she was of age, and can prove your reasonable belief in court, then you will not be convicted of a crime. However, this presents two issues: Does your state allow the defense of mistake (Cali used to not allow it), and more importantly, what happens when its your word against hers in court?

The stupidest part about the law is that, in some states, if you are 18 and hooking up with a 17 year old, you can be convicted of statutory rape.

There is me a 6'3 black guy with 3 young white girls. The short and fat one starts screaming and yelling at the top of there lungs about i'm a creep and a perv and that I'm going to jail etc...
The best solution was to bounce quietly and calmly.
There was no way i could've come out on top smelling like roses.
As soon as you start arguing you've already lost your upperhand in the situation.

You are right but you can still win a lot of points by playing the victim, then ejecting. It'll stop that shit from following you around.
