I did last year. Stopped 2k into my run to chat up this hot girl. She wasn't running herself, just walking down the street.

Went direct -- something like 'You were so cute I just had to stop.' She smiled, thought it was ballsy, blah blah blah.

Got her number. It didn't come to anything though as I was travelling a lot after that.

I run several times a week so I may try this again. The main thing is to make sure you have a phone with you or something to capture the digits.

Aside from opening while you're out, I actually think running as a discipline can help your game in several ways . . . I may do a post on it at some point.

I recently stumbled across this by accident..

I was leaving the gym on a hot day. I was wearing a tank top and my muscles were "pumped'.

I felt great and I was getting a few looks from girls. I recently put on about 10 pounds of muscle.

I approached 2 girls and they both gave me their number.

I realized that working out and walking around in a tank top works!

Duh!

Now, I walk around in my workout clothes all day.

I pretend that I just came form the gym.

Yesterday, I saw a beautiful girl walking so I jogged passed her, pretended to notice her, and then opened her.

I am a Fake Jogger!

Recently discovered the benefits of jogging game. Im a pretty skinny dude so its easier to spit game jogging than it would be at a gym surrounded by bodybuilders! Also, i've noticed theres also slightly curvy girls getting in shape, so maybe they'll be good for a bang? Maybe they'll be worth it over time. Of course theres those girls with banging bodies, but im not ready for that. I've only been jogging for about a month and have already seen so many beautiful women and got 2 numbers from average girls. Best part is, setting up a second meet up is easy for me. I've just had to ask if we could go running again! Anyone else got any tips?

Curvy girls - if they pass the boner test, then go for it. There was another thread on these fixer-uppers, bottom line is, don't do it.

How do those 2nd meetups work out? Problem with the "lets go jogging again" is that it's never worked for me; I never get a response to that followup run text. Frequently people see exercise as work and alone time. Better to propose doing something else fun. You can either suggest something else outdoors/exercise related, or better suggest having a drink together, or going to a party, something social, whatever suits you. The problem is value: she's already a runner. Unless you're bringing serious value, like you're really fun, or good to look at, or some sort of running guru, there's no motivation for her to follow through. A drink sets you up better for your goal.

Also, on approaching, if you're coming from behind, I find it's best to pass her, give her a glance, get a few paces ahead, then pretend to notice her and do your open. That way she's aware of your presence and you're not sneaking up on her. Especially close to dark (dawn/dusk), girls get spooked easily. There was something I saw (written by a woman) that went like this

Jogging at noon: ooh, he's hot. Is my hair ok? I hope I'm not sweating too bad. Wonder if he's married. Is he smiling at me?
Jogging at 6AM. Oh my god, rapist!

Whether or not it's reasonable, you have to respect her natural reaction.

I actually did a post on the benefits of walking around in a tank top on my blog. The kinds of interactions you'll see are practically night-and-day from walking around in just regular casual clothing.

I definitely opened while out running... back when I was running 5 miles a day last year.

Running behind cute blonde chick. Id been pacing with her for a mile just to keep a rhythm, she looked back so I sprinted and caught up.
"Howdy stranger, not chasing you, just pacing haha *stupid joke cheesy smile*You've been kicking my ass for the past mile and didn't even know it."
Start bullshitting, she's on mile two, I'm on number four, get number, where you live, blah blah, finish our runs together, give her a lift back to her place cause she was "dying" and we were by my car, in retrospect completely miss an easy invite for a lay that day.
Got invited in the house and everything.
Didn't push because her roomies were hotter, thought I could social group in. Shoulda took the bird in my hand.



I gotta start running again.
Besides, it was amazing for my muscle tone.
