Apparently it takes a lot of women to replace Jane Fonda: In the Hollywood Reporter's latest cover story, Ted Turner reveals that he now has four girlfriends in his life, and he typically spends one week per month with each of them. The billionaire media mogul divorced Fonda, his third wife, in 2001, the Telegraph notes. A friend tells the Reporter Turner is "still in love with" Fonda, and Turner admits they talk "about once a month."

Are his four girlfriends happy with the arrangement? "Sort of," Turner says. And is Turner himself lonely? "Maybe a little," he admits. Daily Intel calls the whole profile "kind of depressing," noting that it also paints a picture of a 73-year-old Turner who goes to bed after dinner, has noticeably less energy than he used to, is going deaf, and talks about his funeral a lot. Turner also admits he "thought about" suicide "and decided against it—in the past, not recently." Mediaite, however, zeroes in on a different part of the interview: Turner is not a Tea Party fan, calling the group "mean-spirited."

This is kind of sad. I've always seen Turner as a man's man, so you don't like to see him this way. He's in the mold of Richard Branson - they never sit still. They keep setting goals for themselves and go out and achieve them. They're adventurers that live life to the fullest. If they like something, they buy it...HA HA! It seems like he's reached a point where he doesn't feel like there's anything left for him, and only the comfort of a good woman in the sunset of his life can fulfill him. He needs to spend some time with Hugh Hefner!

Some of us will hit the the wall at 50 and others at 60. So Ted Tuner's situation offers a valuable lesson. Slay as much young pussy as you can NOW. Damn good men Turner and Branson.

Any man who has lived life like Turner deserves all the respect in the world, even if he goes off the wall in his later years. Howard Hughes was another man like that. And the amount of quality poon Hughes banged is enought to make any man crazy lol

Yes that's an important point,you never know when the wall will hit you. In your 20's you kind of feel invincible and like you have all the time in the world to achieve things but then you hit 30 then 35 and then 37,38... and you start to notice lines around the eyes,a bit of sun damage,the occasional creak in the knee and you're reminded that this trip ain't lasting forever. You have to prioritize your yearnings and then go out and fulfill them. I'm not saying you won't be able to bang in your 50's or 60's etc. but it must be hard coming to the realization that you're no longer as desirable as you were or as the 25 year old standing next to you at the bar and your best days are probably behind you.

Tell me about it. I'm 36 and already feel apprehension about telling a girl my age. I really can't see myself being attracted to girls much over 30 for the foreseeable future. It's only going to get tougher. :-(

1 of the 4 gfs that ted's seeing is 32 btw and left her husband of 12 years to be with ted for 1 wk per month. in the link i posted above, her husband sent a mass email out when she left him essentially praising ted's value that she would leave her husband to be with a man for 1 out of every 4 weeks and be alone the other 3 weeks. (which begs the question, is she really ALONE those other 3 wks?)

Just goes to show wait till later to get married...if at all. Likely some side projects those other 3 weeks of the month..haha
