Flying solo?
How do you guys handle pulling solo?

For me it is really difficult. It is funny - because one time I was out drinking with my best friend. I entered a bar I had not being to before - and waited for him. Whilst waiting for him (he spent half an hour outside texting some side bitches) I was really confident. Chatting to everyone in the bar (it was a quiet bar) and having a go at a bit of DJ'ing...

Now. To be honest - I was only able to do this because I was expecting my best friend to walk in at any moment. Just that thought made me feel really comfortable and confident...

I don't think I could ever be that cool and confident whilst on my own. Which is paradoxical since the people in the bar didn't know I was waiting for my best friend to show up...

So - with that said. How do you guys handle flying solo? Is it difficult? Or does it get easier with time?

And - do you have to make up a reason as to why you are alone? Or do chicks not question that?

I am from the UK by the way. So maybe there is a difference between the US and UK in this sort of thing?

There's lots of threads on this topic. /thread-9960.html

The simplest advice is just to do it repeatedly. Your anxiety wears off when you realize no one can tell once the bar is semi-crowded around 10 or 11 p.m. If you need to practice, go to a bar solo and watch a football game. Get used to sitting on your own and entertaining yourself without staring at your phone.

This. As you realized it's about your mindset. when you are alone, you will be thinking about 'what if they look at me weird' and it will make you act more awkward.

I am pretty comfortable going out on my own. Go to a big bar or a club. You need to keep moving around if you have no one to talk to. You don't want to be seen by girls hitting on other girls.

If I go to a small bar, they can easily see me when I am just standing by myself and hitting on other girls.

Go to restroom, go outside to smoke. Don't stay in one spot for a while.

Even girls who came with friends (who don't have to walk around) walk around the bar or club.
Do you guys think it's because they want to find guys they want?
