Why only one night of partying? There's supposed to be lots of girls there. Let me know if you'll be in town still on 12/29. If not, share your thoughts after your visit. I heard there's not much in the way of hip-hop venues so that's my only gripe. But I don't mind house/electronica. Usually hotter girls in those venues anyway.

My plans are very fluid right now. All I know is that as soon as I touch down, I'm taking an ADO bus from CUN to PDC. At this point, I'm scrambling to find a condo in PDC, although I've come across a few leads today so hopefully I'll have that matter resolved soon.

Our Mexico guys have been very helpful in terms of recommending places to check out, so much thanks to Kava, Texasmade, Bars, etc.

I read one guy's story on the PDC board I mentioned about how one of the best nights he had during his stay, he was going HAM with a few girls on the dance floor to "Niggas in Paris", so somewhere in PDC they do play hip-hop.

I'm not surprised by the high number of house/electronica venues. I've read it's pretty easy to cop anything you want around La Quinta, which for me is the only way to enjoy that kind of scene.

PDC sounds like a "what happens here, stays here" kind of place. Lots of stories out there about how promiscuous the women who come there are, so my one night out statement is probably just rational musing at this point.

Chances are I will be around when you arrive, I'll let you know what's up.

I need something cheap with semi short flight times. The only thing I can find that fits in here is Mexico City. Never been to Mexico so maybe I'll check it out

I believe Spirit Airlines has some oober cheap deals to Mexico City. Going with some friends this weekend as we are going Spirit sharing carryons/luggage while booking an apt apparently in a trendy neighborhood via Airbnb.com.

Will provide more intel on a separate thread about the place.
