Why? White/Indian marriages and liasons were common in the US for centuries. Lots of whites do have a least one Indian ancestor and vice versa.

I do. My maternal great grandfather was close to, or maybe entirely, full blooded Choctaw. He looked like cigar store Indian-straight jet black hair, reddish brown skin and a big hook nose.

I wish I could pull up this PBS show I caught at 3 in the morning years ago. They got a DNA swab test and like one person came back with any Indian in them, it was hilarious. They were all so shocked and surprised.

Last August I went up to Maine for a bit and spent a night in the town of Eastport.

It's not all that uncommon and it's typically a great grandmother or other female relative since it was much more socially acceptable for a white man to get with a Native woman than vice-versa.

Summoning a truck load of indians to drink at 2am on a weeknight is not unusual. I would be more surprised if they were like "oh no, we've all got to get up for work tomorrow, or get the kids off to school".
