The greater question to me with guys like this is...why do they feel the need to be married? If it's already failed 6 times, and you already have kids from previous marriages, why again? Why isn't banging bitches or simply having long-term girlfriends enough? Why the need to "make it legal?"

eh, gregg knows the ropes by this time I think he just likes makin babies, considering he's had at least one kid with almost all of his wives. Seems to be a pattern: marriage -> child -> divorce.

At the end of the day he has a whole lotta offspring and a few of them are bound to become successful, and they will probably be given the bulk of his estate as well. The Allmans will carry on long into the future.

My guess is that he really did feel as though he'd found "the one" in each of his wives, then became just as strongly convinced that the marriage wasn't worth saving every time the romance began to wane. He made it big in the arts, man-- way harder than being a Wall St "winner" parasite. He' s a fucking immortal, in the cultural sense.

I saw them live post-Duane, they did Whipping Post for an encore, and I tell you it sounded like the end of the world.

When they throw down, they are not kidding. On a level with James Brown, Miles Davis, Minneapolis Symphony doing Rite of Spring, other greats I've seen.

And you guys asking why he gets married, I can't tell if it's a rhetorical question and you think you know he's dumb, or if you really are naive. Honestly shes attractive but hes a celebrity likely with ridiculous amounts of money. This is easily replicable if guys move out of the first world. Plus living costs are lower. I can say one thing, as soon as I reach the point where I have enough income to live off interest for the rest of my life I will retire and move to the 2nd/ 3rd world and quit the first world living. First world is great for money, lousy otherwise.

Tbh I know 65+ year old men uglier than him not rich and in fact poor by North American standards who have better looking girlfriends in Colombia, DR and Cuba.

Marrying her is silly, but he may have an air tight pre-nup and perhaps he spends more than hes going to make so the Net Family Property won't go up. Although I'm not sure if the law is like that where he married.

Hes a celebrity he doesn't need to go foreign...he may simply prefer to date american women...a celebrity has an advantage over american women. His value is very high and can counter an american women delusion.

A normal american man cannot overcome the delusion of an american woman easily. A celebrity can.
