I work for a consulting company. One of my clients is opening a new franchise. I have been providing them training for the past month. A couple of weeks ago they introduce me to one of their higher ups who is overseeing the day to day operations. She's cute, a 6.5 nothing I would get hot and heavy over but would probably bang.

Anyway, she was flirting with me, and telling her coworkers how she thought I was cute and what not. So Wednesday was her birthday and it was my last day me training with her and the franchisee. She said she dinnt have any plans and I said we should grab a drink. She was like sounds good. We meet downtown, I run my usual confident game, talk about my travels, pretend I am interested in her etc. Lots of Kino. We kiss for a while. And we make plans to meet for the weekend, we both agree that what happens outside of work needs to stay there. No one is to know. Next we part ways. She texts me that night to say she had fun and looks forward to meeting up this weekend. I never texted back until 24 hrs later. And she never responded back to my text.

I go by the location today to meet with the owners of the company I see her there. I make small talk and thats all. I leave. About an hour later I get a call from the owner ( who is also a friend)

him: Cooze, I need a huge favor?
Me:Sure, whats going on?
Him: I need you to back off of "Ashley" She feels uncomfortable.
Me: yea, no worries I dont want to put anyone in a akward position....

Anyway, what pisses me off is what the fuck did I do wrong? Drinks, a kiss or two, no pressure and this bitch opened her mouth to her boss... I cant rap my head around these cunts. Not sure where I am going with this. I just needed to vent....

I broke my own rule of mixing business and pleasure.

I am thinking she was an attention whore. After all, when she was hanging out with me she was showing me her OKC profile. lol. Just another hamster spinning her cunt wheel. I am about to give up on American women 100%. No trouble with work. Its all good on that front

There's real easy fix for this. Kill this chick (metaphorically) by pretending that she's a short guy in drag, and treat her accordingly. Attention whores dread not appreciated.

Sounds like you're not in any trouble. If the boss is a true friend you might consider showing him the text she sent so that he can see that you're in the right and she's playing some kind of game with your reputation and career. He might want to know how deceitful his own employees are.

In any case, you gave her power over you by handing her the "sexual harassment" card. Never give another person the power to hurt your career like that.

Like it or not, women are treated better than men in American culture. They get all the privileges that men have, with fewer expectations of self-sufficiency, and they cry foul if they don't get what they want.

This situation is not something you want to deal with in the workplace because most people will prefer to see the woman as a damsel in distress rather than a manipulative cunt who's out to get you.

I am tired of this PC bullshit. If I did not have to be in the US, I would be gone. I should have seen the angle, she used me as leverage knowing full well I have control of the business. But she used her leverage to soon. On the flip side I actually hold the power. But in no way would I shut down a multi million dollar business out of spite. But maybe I will fuck with her on my audit and evaluations? Or just let it go? hmm....

Chicks want to be treated as "equals" and then they go and pull shit like this. She clearly felt like you left her hanging with that text and it pissed her off. Or she's just an attention whore. This has happened to me in the past. You answer their text a day later and you get just the one word responses like "hi" and "ok" and "no". I stopped dealing with those kinds of chicks a long time ago. I don't have the time or the patience. I might snap. What the fuck gives with these little games?

Twits are often conflicted about what they do. They act impulsively, then regret it later. And they can't keep their mouths shut - they lack discretion. Luckily for you, you have friends in place that won't escalate this. You recognized your poor judgment in mixing business with pleasure (she was obviously a willing participant - we could even go so far as to say she initiated), but you didn't do anything that warrants a harassment charge. You are two adults doing what adults do. Save the texts just in case she continues to run her mouth and spin a different tale of what happened between you.

And, Cooze, for what it's worth I don't think you really broke any rule here. You interacted with another human being, which is what living is all about. If she can't handle that, which apparently she can't, then it shouldn't become your problem by default. You feel me, playa?

Not to sound harsh Cooze but she let you off easy. She could have easily turned the short personal interaction you guys had into a real shitstorm. Good thing you guys didnt bang. I like the fact that you gamed her successfully, albeit a little too successfully. Special caution must be applied when gaming work chicks. Remember, these are people that can easily affect your source of incone and business reputation. These arent your typical bar or club girls who you can treat however necause if you choose not to you'll never see her again. These are women who you have an almost guaranteed chance of seeing again either the next day or near future. Id stay away completely from mixing business w/pleasure. Also like Mech said, ignoring her text wasnt too smart. A simple aknowledgement would have gone a long way.

Thanks guys for the feed back. I am not concerned its going to go back to my company office and if it does I have done nothing wrong. All I did was have a couple drinks, shot the shit with, kissed her, and made plans to meet up.

She texts me, I was actually asleep when she texted, 24hrs later I text back. A short reply, some personal " whats up shit and work related". What really pisses me off, is that when we agreed to not let anyone know outside of work because of the possible repercussions she goes and tells her boss. Anyway lesson learned on my part.

I hope this serves as a lesson for anyone thinking of gaming chicks in any type of work situation. Millions of couples meet at work, but all it would take it is one disgruntled bitch to ruin your job/career. Only in America. Sigh.
