Think I've answered my own question: Argentina is apparently 97% white (Spanish and Italian) but "Argentina's population has long had one of Latin America's lowest birth rates and population growth rates (recently, about 1% a year), but it enjoys a comparatively low infant mortality rate".

Therefore, they will assimilate easily if they emigrate over here to Europe, but to a lesser extent in the states where the WASP elite probably don't see them as 'white' enough.
