The 7/11 where it was won had/has crowds of people all over it.





I see lots and lots of long lost relatives, friends and very nice girls who will love you for who you are in that crowd.

This person, whoever they are will need 24/7 protection because California has no anonymous rules for lottery winners.

Gangs, large vapid population and desperate wannabes with a few million scam artists thrown into the mix. Couldn't have been a worse state to win it in.

Only in America have I see lottery ticket vending machines in train stations that were constantly being used. It's like a national sport

I don't understand why these people flock to the store that sold the ticket. A news article mentioned they were hoping the winner would show up with his/her ticket. WTF?

The winner cashes the ticket at the state lottery office (California has a bunch of them, my state has only one). No way in hell some grandma who just won a billion dollars is going to go down to 7-11 at midnight to take selfies and shake hands with a bunch of strangers.

Attention whores gonna attention whore.
