I don't know if this has been discussed here already but for you guys that workout regularly, do you pull at the gym?

The gym I go to is just packed with hotties. It's ridiculous. Seriously, it's like Ipanema, SoBe, and my local gym in that order of hot girl concentration. But what's shitty is that girls have the most unapproachable vibe ever at the gym. They all look serious, are on the treadmill, have their ipods on and carry that "don't bother me" vibe. They almost never even make eye-contact or smile. I know women's defenses go up high at the gym. Some female friends of mine don't even like gyms because they call it "a nightclub with treadmills" and complain about guys leering at them. Some just prefer women's gyms.

I'm sure some guys have mastered gym game and it would probably be the BEST place to pull because so many girls in there work out and take pride in their bodies and believe in an active and healthy lifestyle. And wearing their leotards there's no question about whether she's in shape.

Easiest way to open is to ask them for a spot. Another way is when you're warming up on the treadmill, epiptical before you lift, go right next to a girl you'd like to approach. Tap her on the shoulder and motion for her to take her earphones out. Then just start talking. Don't give any excuses like "I get bored on here so let's talk" or anything like that. Do it like it's just a normal thing you do. It must be a girl who isn't going all out and looks like she is breathing light enough to hold a conversation. Then you leave the situation and say you have to get your real workout started. Then reopen whenever.

Like Roosh mentioned Virgil Kents piece on picking up at GYM is Right On, I read it after I did thid approach and my hunch was right.

I saw an Asian HB 7 with a personal trainer and noticed her looking at me evry once in a while but ignored it, took that as an IOI but didn't want to seem needy and didn't go to her.

Coincidentally we both walked out together and I asked her how much are the personal training sessions and she went on blah balh... she bout 100 for $ ... and i followed up with if she feels it's good to come in the AM or PM and started walking away from her and her body followed me ( IOI) she turned and started walking along.

Found out she is learning the Business I am in and I have an Authoratative position ( DHV ), I ejected and she said she hopes to see me at the Gym

I thought I did good not to ask for her number although I am very positive I would have had a number close.


Any comments ?

Why not get her number right then and there? She obviously wanted to continue the interaction, but the situation wasn't right. While she's talking, cut her off and say, looking at your watch, "Hmm you seem cool but I have a busy day I gotta get going. Take my card/number...here put your number in my phone"

Maybe next time.

Just didn't want to come across as needy and maintain my higher ground. I felt like I Had her and get her number any time I want which would be next time.

Can any one help me understand the ratings differnet members have and how to increse the stars etc , Also I need to change my User name Caps , How Do I do that ?

I would go for number close with the let me take you out and I could give you some inside help about this business. Do it and talk only a little about it and run normal game, should be pretty straightforward if you dont fuck it up...

Being a gymn addict Ive explored the venue some, and its very much like the article suggest about patience. The gymn is great though, but you really have to choose target carefully, to talk with them and then add them on facebook isnt bad, to get them a little more approachable and maximize expossure, instead of seeying them maybe once a week..

Most gymn girls are banging and alot of them are potentially gf material... fuck would have marriaged most of those Ipanema hotties right away..

Yeah, I have been seeing more honeys at the gym lately. I'm usually on my side of the gym with the weights, they're usually on the other side of the gym on the ellipticals, treadmills or stationary bikes... and we both usually have headphones on.

Definitely doesn't seem like the easiest place to open that's for sure....

Appearance is everything here. The way you dress, your hair, the way you were your ipod, your shoes, the way you walk, your body, your vibe. This is how they will judge you. We all communicate our style without even speaking. If she is interested she will probably find a way to let you know. (A subtle walk thru your space, eye contact, just putting herself in a position where you will see her, etc.)

Let her "observe" you for a few weeks before you approach. Best to try and get a few little "IOI's" first.

Never got caught looking at her tho. (Unless you want to. Thats rare but there is a time for it)

Yeah, I actually managed to get a date with one of the hottest women of all times in my gymn with 2000 members. She is a stewardesse and damn fine.... sushi at my place whenever I feel like it. Its not like she ever starred after me or gave me anything, I just made her know I found her fit and interesting long time ago, when she still was in a relationship and then we have some mutual facebook friends and she started showing interest, so Ive added her and been aggressively teased her, without her seeming reluctant or dismissing me, the date closure was np...

So patience is key, there really isnt any forcing it before the fruit is ripe.

Never tried approaching at the gym, but if I did I'd stalk the water fountain. Keep an eye on the prey and find yourself waiting behind her for a drink. Then use some silly line like Didn't I meet you in the volleyball tournament?

Personally, I'm in and out of the gym in 20 minutes or less, and most women haven't budged from their spot on the treadmill in that time. I'm there for quick and intense workouts that leave me a bit nauseous, and I wouldn't want to compromise focus by trying to meet people.

I've never come close to closing, as it seemed contrived, but at my university gym, I usually briefly flirt with the chick working the counter. I'm in the free weight room where the only girls there are with guys. If she's with a guy, she's almost assuredly boning him. Some of my openers:
[Shitty gay music like Coldplay or Hillary Duff playing] "I like your music selection, it's really conducive to lifting."
"So did you have to pass a fitness test to work here?" (with a smirk, so she knows you're flirting and not serious)

The gym if you think about it is a funny place. A funny opener is probably not hard to come by, but there are other, obvious obstacles. Maybe if you see a girl using those pink 2 lb dumbbells, tell her you need to use them to get big, in a deadpan manner.
