If I had this forum when I was 12, it would have been the equivalent of 'the anarchist cookbook' that was circulating on floppy disks when I was that age. My pre-teen idiot self would have tried to apply some of the knowledge contained within and instead of mishaps like near blindness and setting the lawn on fire via the cookbook it would have been STD's or teen pregnancy. There's no way I could have handled it.

14 or 15 would have been the perfect age for me to learn it, but I don't think I would have accepted it. I was raised as a straight Christian, and while I wanted to have sex, I believed anything but sex in marriage was a sin. (I still think this, but that's a topic for another thread).

I ran across some material several years before I took the red pill, talking about how women are attracted to dominance and leadership, and I couldn't accept it. I wasn't ready to take the red pill. I finally reached a point in my life where experience took me half way to taking the red pill, and when I read some red pill materials, the doors of my mind finally were opened.

That's the thing. In today's society, most people have to have some experience that jars them enough to reject the standard narrative, before they can take the red pill. In the late 1970's when I was 15, the blue pill narrative was still substantially true.

Instead of dating my high school girlfriend I would of been banging the hotter girls that wondered why i was dating below my league. I didn't find this out until one of my buddies brought this up to me a few years ago

I found this forum at 15 and lurked for a long time. It didn't really help me to find it that young even though I was ready for it and agreed with most of what I read.

I don't know about most people but I only began to understand and deeply appreciate this stuff once I turned 17. Before then, everything that was written here was like it was happening on a different planet. It was fun to read and while I knew the concepts at a basic level, it didn't help too much in real life.

I took the red pill and while it helped me see through a lot of bullshit in life, the booster dose at 17 is where the shit really got started.

I'm not in the same camp as guys saying it would save them years of disappointment.

In a perfect world, sure, but I feel like I am who I am now because of those bad times. I'm grateful for all of it.

If I had fount it at like 20 or 25 that would have been awesome. But at 12, I'd get banned after one post almost certainly, like someone else said.

Also, in addition to my previous post, I definitely would have not have spent many years wasting time.
Wasting time with unmotivated, unproductive people and doing activities that don't improve or benefit myself.

This forum has been one of the greatest inspirations in my life.
Seeing other people's struggles, persistence and amazing successes, has really motivated me more than anything else.
I really wish I had it when I was a lot younger.


As you get older, it becomes more and more important to use all your time in constructive ways.
No matter how rich or powerful you are, nothing in heaven and earth can give you wasted time back.

I now try to spend every waking hour doing something useful and making up for all those wasted years.

At 12 some guys are not self conscious and are alpha in their own right. And perhaps teenage girls are even sluttier. Unfortunately I was at a boys school so I wouldnt know.

Major self-improvement at the age of 12 (and +/- a few years too) is mainly the result of having a strong male role model in your life, not of reading a book or a forum.

You know, this thread got me thinking.

All through middle, high school, and college I was a tall skinny guy. Swayed in the wind tall and skinny.

I thought to myself, had I started lifting and working out in middle school I would have packed on some decent muscle in my teen years. But knowing how detrimental college was to my life I probably would have stopped working out, start eating poorly, and gotten fat.

Granted, I would have had a lot more whores on my D as a teenager, but I figure I got off alright considering the quality of girls I was with at the time.

I always appreciate the younger crowd who has an awakening and joins. My biggest regret was stumbling on this site in 2011 and not joining at the time. I was too into sosuave.net to care.

You are absolutely right.

But these were non-existent when I was younger.
Even today...who do boys have to teach them how to be men, and how to handle female behaviour ?

The kind of strong male roles models we needed back then (and are still needed today) have been shunned, ridiculed and censored by society for more than 40 years now.
This forum (and some of the red bill blogs) is all there is, for the vast majority of newbies even today.
