Need Critique on the following pick up

We were on business meeting in Miami and one of my friends and myself decided to go to South Beach, we were at a HI FI Bar/ hotel/dance place.

Me: Indian looking, more talkative, confident, better Dancer, more successful of the two

Friend: GQ looking model nice guy.

We're at this bar early all the girls are paired up and my friend is not in a mood to move around, after my second drink I told him I cannot sit here anymore and have to move to find some action , as we were leaving I spot a 2 set sitting in the Dark corner behind the bar, I started moving towards them my friend followed, I opened and asked them what is the dance room they responded it's in the basement and will be open in about half an hour. (Tall girl and a short girl both about 8). I ask them if they were from Miami, they said no they are from Chicago, after exchanging small talk and a few jokes they said they needed to go to the bathroom.
My friend told me I am batting at 1000% and can have my pick since I opened them.

I like the short one since she had with better boobs and was laughing at my jokes and Banter although at one point the tall girl told me that "she Loves me" .

The girls came back and the short one sat on a stool next to me and the tall one stood next to my friend,we touched, hugged and after a couple of drinks and went to the dance floor my friend and the tall girl started making out and the short one was cold from there on, I freeze her out and she started dancing with me. My friend and the tall girl were getting hot and heavy and she told him that a short one would not let her go with us, I told my friend to go to the rest room around the corner that even had a couch in it.

I decided to change the venue with the short one for 2 reasons one to give my buddy a chance to make a home run so that the short one should not interfere with them and also to see if I can run a different game on the short girl and see if she will put out. We came out on the Patio, I told her interesting stories of my travel and some volunteer work I have done in South America ,she started showing some more interest and told me she would like for me to meet her mother because her mother would love me and kissed me on the cheek. After about 20 minutes were friend called me and told us to meet in the lobby. The short girl told the tall girl that she loves me but will not be able to go with us as she has a Stomach upset ?

My friend did score home run, we went to a cuban place to eat and decided to go back to our hotel, again resistance from the short girl and stated she is not feeling well and wanted us to call them tomorrow, we told them we are leaving in the morning, they wanted us to come to Chicago so that they can show us around.

End Result: My friend scored and I did not.

My Questions ?

1. Is there any way I could have picked the girl who would have put out as my friend gave me the option since I opened them?

2. Should you always go for the one which you like even if you don't get her?

3. Did I do the right thing and tolerate some coldness from the short one just to be a good wing man to my buddy?

4. was something wrong with my game? Any tips on what I could have done to have better chances of the short girl putting out?

1. Never be so eager to pick a girl to bang after you open when dealing with a wing and a 2 set: let her pick you! Once you get strong vibes from one, that includes Kino, then you escalate. Otherwise, you BOTH play it cool, and let them steer the direction the night is headed. Pay special attention to which one shows more IOI or SOI to you, and still play it cool. Eventually, one will come closer to you than the other after about 30 mins of attraction buiding. If 30 mins have passed, and you are still wondering which one is interested, then kick it up a notch and start testing the waters by initiating Kino with one, then the other. One will be more responsive to you - that's your target!

2. In my experience, if they are both equally hot (like two 8's on your case) - be patient! let the girls drive. Unless, one is a 5 and the other a 9, then obviously go for the 9 immediately after opening since you get first dibs! Your friend got some because he was patient, and he let you make all the moves first - this can easily backfire and come across as desperate and needy (instead of cool, and carefree) if you are not careful.

3. yeah, you did good for a wingman, but the problem is you transitioned into a wingman when you should have been the pilot all along! Your wing became the alpha-male of the two of you, and the girls saw it. If you have first dibs, your wing should be waiting until you are clear for landing! Not making his moves, until you have your girl wrapped up and ready to go!

4. Who knows why the short girl did not put out. She could have had her period, needed to take a huge shit, or maybe just flat out was not attracted to you, and you should have spent more time building attraction with BOTH women, until one of them picks you for her night! You are the pilot, and your wing should have facilitated you getting yours first, instead you facilitated him!

** Note - upset stomach is code female language for needing to take a shit really bad!

When a woman give you the upset stomach excuse, say you have some pepto and alka seltzer back in your place that you carry for such emergencies - she should go back and take some, so you can continue the night dancing =) Now you just got her at your place - keep escalating! If she refuses to go with you, you should start hitting on her friend right away - she is either lying and not attracted to you, or cannot find a way to escape the embarrassment of needing to use the bathroom badly - which you will never know! Regardless, bad news for you - no matter which one it is.

When swooping with a wing, always make clear that you are to lock-down your pussy for the night first and only until he sees you getting hot and heavy, should he proceed to clear the way for you to land - not beforehand!

Now, if the girl was obviously coming on to your friend strong, and completely ignoring you, then obviously build attraction with what is left - but just realize you have just become the wing - and no longer the pilot.

Thanks for taking the time for the input, your assessment is dead on these things

1. I might have appeared needy and desperate rather than cool and confident.

2. The girls choose the boys in our case, mind was just not interested in was facilitating her friend.

The best thing I learned from your response is not to be too eager to make the choice until it clears up which girl is more into U.

Lay the ground rules with your wingman first before going out

This post is very relevant for me as I tend to be the Icebreaker in a group and then end up with a girl I didn't want.

What I understood from armanid27 is to keep going with both of them as there's nothing to lose and everything to gain (from the man's point of view).
