I would post a great first date idea. Have I tested this? Yes. Does it work? Yes. Did I invent it? No. A player and Mentor about 12 years ago brought this to my attention, heres how it works.

After a text game or phone game tell the chick to meet you at a large box store, like Target, Walmart etc. To bring $20.00 in cash. And thats all you tell her pre-date. The anticipation kills them. trust me.

When you arrive, meet her out front. Tell her you each have thirty minutes, $20.00, and the object is to buy the most random and interesting stuff for each other. You must meet back in the front of the store after 30 minutes and you can not let the others see what you bought. You will exchange gifts later.

Things to buy.

Shitty Cds with bad 90s music
Car motor oil
Bad picture frames
Box of rubbers
40 of malt liquor
Fake flowers
Over sized Granny panties.

Anyway you get my drift. Get creative. From there you move to drinks where you loosen her up a bit and she is going to be dying to know what you bought her. The above does two things. 1. She's now invested in you so she wants to see where it goes. 2. It gives you the player the opportunity for the venue change.

Cooze: Hey we should go over to my place, have a cocktail, and exchange our gifts.

Her: Ok sounds like fun.

Its a very simple yet effective strategy that has brought me many SNL. Girls think its cute and creative. Anyway, good luck and if you want more specifics PM me or just ask here.

I think I heard this on pickup podcast or somewhere. Never tried it though but I can see how it would work and glad someone can relate their experiences. May have to try this out.

Why not meet for a drink and see if you have anything in common. Just don't be instantly into her, lean back, be comfortable and see if you want to hang out with her. Maybe I am too old. But this seems juvenile.

I like it. Probably wouldn't pull this on a first date but as a second or third date it would be fun. Also "Cooze Hound" is fucking hilarious for some reason. Bravo on screen name choice

If you were in an outdoor mall type setting you could have the drinks first and then come up with the idea "spontaneously". Then go back with your secret gifts and have another drink. I bet that would yield an even greater return.

At first, I didn't like the idea - too 'quirky' and internet nerd-ish. But I could see doing this with food at a supermarket. In fact, I sort of wrote this up a month ago elsewhere, but didn't do it. Basically, get drinks first, then go to a supermarket and play this game, find interesting foods and then eat each other's food back at your place plus more alcohol, and bang.

One of my issues on dates is when I don't bang a girl, and the girl thinks I only want sex (true), so I never see her again. Having some sort of activity that makes her think otherwise could prevent that.

Guys,

My only issue I see with having drinks first is going shopping after gives her the time to sober up. You want her partially impaired. After all, booze will increase your chance of a bang by 20%. I am 34 years old, and for you guys who say this is Juvenile, maybe it is, but its gotten me laid from girls 22-35. I'm just passing it along to my fellow Cooze Hounds. Oh and thank for the compliment on the screen name Bronan.

I can understand BasilRansom's skepticism but it does seem like a good idea that could be extremely effective. Like Bronan said this seems more appropriate for an after the first date idea. I can see why a girl would get weirded out on the first date by this lol. Perhaps this could be used long after the initial stages of dating as well to keep her interest in you up.

This seems like a really good idea, but again, it's one that now has an expiry date. Imagine suggesting this to a girl only to have her say 'oh, i've done that with someone before'. Insta-kill.

That being said, I am definitely going to try this out. Maybe not on a first date, but definitely on the second one.

I also like the above idea to do the same thing with food, though it becomes less funny and more romantic that way. Depends on how you want to play it I guess.

Variation: Do it with the food but make the stipulation that you have to cook with ALL the ingredients that night and have dinner together. Instant plausible deniability on getting her over.

Fitso, I like your thinking about the food. I never thought of that one. Big Box store..... Its worked for me on first dates. But it helps to build rapport and feel a girl out on the phone some before you decide to give this one a try.
