One of my good friends from childhood is getting married. The bride is also someone myself and my buddies have known for a long time, she's a nice girl and treats him the way a man deserves to be treated.

I have a few questions surrounding the peripheries of the wedding.

1) Summer wedding in T.O. means hot, humid climates ala D.C. I am easily prone to sweating and need to get suited down properly. Please chime in with your suggestions here. A friend of mine is appreciation as a tailor so that end is getting hooked up. Would the best option be linen or some kind of tropical/summer weight wool? Khaki linen seems like the best option, but a more conventional fabric/color is probably more versatile the other 364 days of the year.

2) My boys and I are planning an afterparty for the wedding. The bride's friends are all hard eights and nines so we want to have a spot to go back to and get our drink/fuck on. Among the possibilities that have been considered are hiring a bunch of cocktail waitresses to sling booze after hours at someone's home, though there may be legality issues. I'm pushing for a big suite at one of the better hotels here (Thomspon, Soho Met has a 3 floor suite, glass elevator, outdoor pool etc).

If anyone's ever had to send one of their buddies off to the dark side and has any good ideas, let me know.
