Edit: Ukrainians can stay for 360 days visa-free as well! You could bring your Ukrainian GF here for some weather relief and good wine.

Edit 2: Lot airlines fly from Warsaw for about $180 one-way.

Edit 3: The government seems friendly-- on that page, they say if you want to stay longer than 360 days you should apply for what sounds like an extension. Most countries just reiterate "you have to leave" etc.

I think N. Nomad said that girls in Georgia weren't easy for his expat friend living there. The visa situation there is awesome though.

Another place with a good visa situation is Serbia. I lived there for five months -- just do a quick and easy update of your status every 3 months (no border hop needed).

Also, what about Moldovia and Romania? Can't you just do an easy border hop? Or do these places have the annoying 90/180 rule that Ukraine has?

I have a 10-year business visa for India. I think it's recipical with the 10-year business visa the USA offers. I can stay six months in India at a time, just doing a border hop (flight to Thailand) to reset.

Since Russia and the USA have that new visa agreement, I'm wondering if it works like the USA/Indian visa -- six months with a one day border hop to reset. I wish the Russian consulate would answer the phone.

Ukrainians can visit Russia for three months (visa-free), then come back to Ukraine for a one day border hop. No 90/180 rule for Ukrainians visiting Russia.

It's true, I saw some of my friends (all of them from the EU Union) going from Georgia, via Turkey, and at the frontier they got a 360 days visa, if i remember well totally for free.
Anyway, they stayed in the country for 3 days only.

This isn't a new rule,it's been in force for quite a while. Certainly was in July when I visited.

Georgia is awesome,but the women are only average imo. I found that I got interest there from middle aged women ( mid 30's ) who were probably on the scrap heap but the younger ones seemed pretty closed off. Also Georgian men are highly protective of their women so can cockblock you and get violent ( never saw this there but been told by numerous people who know Georgia well ). I imagine social circle is king down there.

I think anyone who goes will be blown away by the place,Tbilisi was, in the Sharden-downtown area at least,quite magical with huge investments having been made there. Its also dirt cheap in Georgia. I think the few of us on this board who have been,whilst not getting huge play with the ladies,will never the less have nothing but good things to say about the place and people.

Search for Batumi on YouTube,the resort looks like it's going to take off big time. Get in before everyone else does. Pegasus the budget Turkish air,ine have ridiculously cheap deals: London-Tbilisi-London for £220. Or fly with them to Trabzon in Turkey and take a bus to Batumi.

There is a guy on the forum living there and teaching at the moment,I'm sure he'll be able to add more.

So, I've just come from Tbilisi yesterday.

Here's a few things worth knowing.

• First and foremost, it's a gorgeous city and well worth a visit.
• It's very cheap. A beer will cost you anywhere $1 (in restaurants) to $3 (in your average bar).
• The nightlife is fucking shit. Like...awful. Baku and Yerevan are better- and that's really not saying much. All the bars are sit down type places... and all the late night discos spots play loud monotomous trance tripe. It's such a pity.
• It's hard to find 7s and 8s, but the average is not that bad. The best thing about them is their bodies: They are quite petite with tasty little rumps. The typical Georgia look is quite distinct: dark brown hair, very flat eyebrows, Roman noses, and slighty sullen eyes. You do find some lighter shades also, even the odd blonde. They are the lightest bunch in the region.
• Forgieners are no longer very exotic here. There has been a deluge of North American teachers coming over to teach English. There are way more foreigners here than anyway in the region. As such, your exotic capital as a Canadian or an American is very low.
• The girls are not easy. It's even harder than Lebanon...but it's easier than Armenia and Azerbaijan. Approx. 20% stay virgins untill marragie. The average age is marry is around 25. Every guy I spoke with who lives here finds it bloody tough. My mate lived here for the summer and got nada in three months (although he admits he got fed up trying). Only two guys I met here have managed to get one night stands in a year of living there... and they do about 10+ approaches on a night out. In general, you need to put in the time and effort. To be frank, I struck out constantly in Georgia. I went on several dates and struggled to esculate. I somehow managed to get my flag my very last night, but I had to put the work in. It took me three dates, but it was well worth it - best sex I've had in months.
• Logistics suck. Rent an apartment. It's not cheap, but it's a must if you want to get laid. Many hotels and hostels don't even allow Georgians to stay there! My biggest mistake was staying in a hostel. I was Tbilisi for about a week (including stopovers) and only my last night I found an apartment near the action. Result.

It sounds like T'bilisi might make a good guerilla film making locaiton-- gorgeous exotic and cheap.

And I know in Russia Georgian wine is mentioned as good.

Tbilisi is not bad, yes the girls are hairy on the arms and legs. If they take care of themselves as in the cities, they don't look bad. They age fast though,at least in the towns and villages. The cities is pretty empty out at night except for Tbilisi, I don't know about Kutaisi, yet to visit it.
Good place to visit for cheapness. Gaming girls is probably viable in the big cities like Tbilisi, but I am not there. There is a lot of girl traffics in places like bazaar, Tbilisi mall, Rustaveli Square, Manjanashvili street for day game in Tbilisi.
U can easily live off 500usd/month anywhere except in Batumi town center peak season.

No, it is not a typo,maybe a little underestimate, I know expats who are living pretty cheaply.
I am living on a wage less than 300usd/month in a village(although I am tapping some extra money for extra travels). If I did not travel at all and buy better food, I could live off 80-100usd/month with internet with a host family, but that would be pretty unpleasant.
I mean a local can live on 200-400usd/month in Tbilisi, this means you can certainly live on 400-500, . A cheap apartment in the town center is possible, but you need to know some local expats and some people to hook up with an apartment, I think you can get a shared apartment for 200-250usd or possibly less.
Income in Georgia sucks dick though, I mean a comfortable lifestyle is quite expensive by local standards.

Other cities are cheaper and less things to do.

how does one obtain the 10 year multiple entry India visa? I know only of the 5 year visa which is " 6 months in, 2 months out" in order to reset.

Wikipedia says "A special 10-year visa (US$150, business and tourist) is available to US citizens only."

I got my business visa by following advice found on the Internet. I got an invitation from a business in India stating our intention to work as partners for some software projects. I had previously been to India on an employment visa. I heard they sometimes dont give you a full ten years unless you've been to India before. Anyway, go ahead and apply for 10 years (they may or may not reduce it to 5 yrs).

I've read that for tourists, you must stay 2 months out of India, but I have not read anything like this for my 10-year business visa. I can tell you from personal experience I have not been subjected to any two month rule. I one time lived in India two years using my business visa. During this time, I would stay for five to six months in a row, and then take short trips to other countries to reset my visa. My trips away from the country varied from 5 to 14 days. Whenever I returned to India, I never had any issues passing through immigration. So I assume the two month away rule does not apply to the 10-year business visa for US citizens.

My very first time to India was for a job, and I had an employment visa. I stayed five months and when I initially tried to leave, the immigration official at the airport would not allow me to leave the country because I did not get registered with the FFRO. My employer told me they handled my registration, but they only handled my registration with the local Police, not with the FFRO. So I was blocked at the airport and I missed my flight. My Indian employer talked to the official on my cell phone and when I got the phone back, he advised me to not even try to bribe this official. The airline employees at the airport said I would need to pay $250 to change my air ticket. I went back to my flat and called the airline's US number using my VOIP phone and explained what happened and they only charged me $75 to change my flight date. I went to the FFRO office to finally get registered, a TON of paperwork was needed. We were stuck in traffic for two hours and arrived at the FFRO office late. They had just closed. My Indian friend offered the FFRO official a 500 ruppee tip ($10) to ensure my registration got done that day (despite being closed), and it worked. Getting it done that day meant not missing another flight.

I know a couple Georgian girls from New York, and they have a habit of whoring themselves out (in college, so no judging I guess). They have the STRANGEST language in the world, it has syllables and letters which you've never heard (I guarantee).

The culture is pretty baseline post-USSR, but Georgia seems to be the one most keen to modernizing after the fall of the USSR. Probably because of their location on the Black Sea and the fact that they're relatively stable and Christian.

Overall, 7/10 country for girls, there is a huge portion of brunettes who are light skinned and Turkic speaking. And when I say light skinned, I mean white as hell.


Just make sure you don't take the wrong road and end up in Chechnya or South Ossetia (breakaway region). The last thing you want is a run in with the Russian military, or worse, rebels.

Was on Skyscanner last night and stumbled across British Airways flights from London to Tbilisi for just under 300 quid return so could not resist. Just need to sort a Russian visa.
