I've never understood the romanticizing of America's past.

You wanna see some really fucked up shit? Read up on what conditions were like in this country during the Industrial Revolution. Everything from coal miners, railroad workers, ironworkers, meat industry workers.

There might not have been dogs releasing biographies, but the upper class and media darlings were just as ridiculous.
