I don't understand Hugo Schwyzer. What kind of mental illness or perversity drives a guy to make himself into a one-man industry spouting feminist platitudes and pablum? What drove him into this execrable career?

I was watching this video of Schwyzer's speech at last year's Los Angeles Slut Walk, and it just blew my mind. His message was incoherent: in the same speech he was talking about how men are the main perpetrators of sexual violence, and that women are justified in fearing men, but then he had the audience join him in a chant of "Men are not weak! Men are not weak!" Who is saying men are weak?

Is this some sort of feminist myth, that men rape women because men are "weak"?

I find it kind of hard to believe his notch count is in the hundreds. He has an effeminate voice and mannerisms (I would think he was gay if I hadn't read his essay about banging female students).

Maybe you're right ... but I'm skeptical about Schwyzer being a player.

He is the most disgusting white knight that there is: getting laid because he is famous and behaving in pretty much all the anti-feminist ways himself (yay for banging your students!), yet kissing ass to it and feeding hamsters worldwide with his man-hating bullshit. He is the ultimate parasite. The only comparable white knight that I can think of is that Claes Bogstrom guy, a famous Swedish advocate for the "expansion of definition of rape" (and responsible for Julian Assange's arrest).

The fact that he has game doesn't make him admirable. Imagine if Roosh used his fame to spout common feminist claims - I don't think he'd remain admired (by us) for long.

Yeah when I read his writings I see a guy who's got a huge inner conflict between his desiring of female company and a lot of guilt. Don't really see that kind of incongruency as alpha to be honest.
