Open thread on recipes or simple dinners you've made for lizards at your place. How they reacted to your cooking. Also how you escalate from dinner to smash. We already have a great wine thread in lifestyles but what wines you might recommend with the meal.

I rep South Texas so we have Mexican food everywhere. Crazy thing is unless you are on the border, it is hard to find good fresh tacos. I'm actually thinking of opening a taco stand or truck in Corpus Christi. Brownsville has probably 3 spots I eat after the club. McAllen has a few spots. I think SA has a few idk about Houston.

Lizards north of the valley love my tacos. Most have never had them. As long as you find some good Carne, a little bit of fajita seasoning and pan fry, you are good. Cilantro, yellow onion, shredded cheese, and lime are the toppings. Just make sure to warm your tortas on a skillet with some olive oil. I don’t like avocado but that’s the only thing missing from this line-up. Also homemade salsa is usually best. Dos XX or Corona goes hard with tacos. Some lizards don't like the taste of Mexican beer so I would go with sweet white wine.

My line of thought is any female that crosses into your home after 9pm knows she will get smashed that night. Why would they come over otherwise? Or maybe I just make sure I am in it before I invite them over. Home cooked meal and some drank opens up the panties.

I hate to be the guy who says "cheese doesn't belong on tacos" but the meat should be tasty enough where it would only detract. Come to the mission district in SF and you'll see what I mean.

Otherwise, good idea. If I pull this move I usually cook steaks though, with veggies on the side. Not too big though, overly full lizards want to sleep not smash.

Have you run into this? Everytime I've cooked dinner for a date, the girl nibbles on a few bites and that's it. They get a little self-conscious about gorging in front of someone they're interested in.

Yep, I get the same shit. Now days I simply put out wine and small snacks (cheese, crackers, cool dips, etc).

I go with the Italian approach. Keep a few bags of Barilla 3 Cheese Tortellini stocked in your cupboard. Granted I use this on Asian chicks but i think good Italian food gets the job done for just about any lizard.

Cook the torellini, and in a saucepan lightly fry a bit of garlic in olive oil and add a jar of pre~made sauce. You dont need much sauce because the tortellini have a very strong flavor as is. Serve with a bottle of wine, lights dimmed and some lit candles. Girl is primed to be smashed.

The beauty of this meal is that it is insanely easy and fast to make and, except for the garlic, doesnt require aby fresh ingredients to buy.

The worst is cooking a nice filet or sirloin and have a girl put ketchup on it. Some girl have no awareness in how good some meals are.

I've never met a person in my whole life (which isn't too much) that eats steak with ketchup. The sole thought of it repulses me
