So I ended up going out with a few buddies last night and one of them was "adamantly" against going to the scrip club with us. He's locked down in a LTR and is beyond whipped. We talked him into it and I told him that he needed to man up and do what he wanted instead of fearing the gf's wrath. We got him inside, found the hottest girl and paid for a few dances for him. He loved it.

Next morning somehow word has spread to the gf. I get a post on my FB wall...under my friends name...and it says "what was that girls name at the place we went to last night? lol".

Buddies gf is trying to troll me! Unbelievable how whipped guys are nowadays. Otherwise solid dudes that just are living under the tyranny of their GFs. Hate to see it.

I wouldn't let anyone, let alone a woman, have that much influence over my behaviour - pretending to be me on my own account would be crossing the line.

Any idea why he lets her shit on him like this? And how did word spread to the girlfriend in the first place? Hopefully none of your group squealed- one of the highest values male friendships have over female ones is loyalty.

Edit: Just noticed the 'subtlety' with which she tried to get you to talk - if she had an IQ in the positive numbers, she'd have at least PMd you about it so as to be more convincing.

Not sure how word got out, either someone squealed to another guy that wasn't there and he told his gf who told her sort of thing, or she was interrogating him and he was being vague.

And he's basically a successful good looking dude that is completely ripped but at the end of the day a soft beta. She's like a drill sergeant.

It's just another mark on my reputation for being a "dangerous" guy for these girl's BFs to hang out with. I like to drink, hit on random girls, go to the scripp club, etc. They want them hanging out with guys that will be into watching the game or coming over for some videogames.

I may lose friends over this eventually. I don't give a fuck.

Your friend needs more control in this relationship man he needs to understand that you cannot let your gf have that much power over you.
Give him the talk please and tell him to keep his passwords to himself no gf should ever really have access to anything of yours

Hate to say it but he's probably a lost cause. They've been living together for a few years and most likely have a wedding on the horizon. I may or may not be invited, but I really do hate weddings anyway.

I'd be of the same mindset. The scenario you describe your friend as being in sounds more like a mother/delinquent son scenario as opposed to a healthy adult relationship.

It's not your fault if junior can't come out and play mate, and you can be sure that when she's chewed him up and spat him out in favour of someone with a spine, he'll be looking to his buddies for a group therapy.

I've seen it happen myself. A good friend of mine to this day bailed on a LTR because she started trying to dictate to him what he could and couldn't do. Another friend had this one broad who'd get uber pissed at parties and started hitting him - he slammed her against a wall and told her to never do it again. She didn't have a chance to because he broke it off immediately.

The more men refuse to put up with the dominance shit that modern society feeds women, the less it will occur.

Any woman that attempts to tell me what I can and cannot do would be thrown out of my life immediately. Fuck you bitch, I'm living MY life, and I will act as I please.

Personally I laugh at guys in unsatisfactory LTRs. My mentality - if you're happy with a woman, stick it out, see what happens, you might get lucky - BUT the moment she oversteps her boundary dump her ass. There's always something better.

I listened to a Neal Brennan episode in MSW2007's Joe Rogan thread. Neal mentioned that when a boyfriend runs a relationship on his terms, all of her friends hate him. Neal's response to women controlling the relationship was "Thanks for making me feel like a guest in my own life."

I always thought most relationships looked lame. The guy constantly giving up ground, making concessions, and never having an opinion anymore. "Whatever you want, bebbbbbb."

Recently did the exact same thing, but this was bucksnight..... Anyway long story short his, well his now fiance, says to me, oh by the way thanks for taking my man to a strip club.
