Rudebwoy, one should go on both experience and stats when trying to ascertain the truth about the situation in a country. That Spain has the highest prostitution rate in Europe verified what I heard and saw when I lived there. Im not being judgmental and I give a rat´s ass about brothels in Europe or anywhere else. I dont go to them and hopefully never will.
Just that they show that Spain has some of the hardest women to fuck in all of Europe or else why would 4 or 5x as many guys in Spain have gone to a hor compared to England. Maybe things are changing now and I hope the OP give us some insight on things there now.
Also, G´s lifestyle, money, game, social circle etc are not typical of the average Spanish dude´s. So going on one person´s experience (be it mine or G´s) to make a general assumption about a country is useless, unless it is backed up by other facts.
Just to give you another example. Would you say that the latest US governement stats on obesity are worthless in describing American women? Of course not. They back up what each American male sees with his own eyes every day.

Chocemonger - People brand about alot of "facts" and "stats", for example let us talk about the unemployment in Spain. Is the number 24% or 45%, both of these numbers I have heard recently. Which one is correct? I believe the situation is dismal but that is a big discrepancy don't you think!
Look at std's "stats", they love to talk about how many black people have this and that. I can tell you first hand I know alot of black dudes who don't go to the Doctor, even for a check-up. So where would they get all these "stats" from???
I don't need the stats for obesity, I can see with my eyes that most people in the USA are fat. Not sure what point that proves!!!

I will offer my rebutall to you and R´s arguments tomorrow. Going to see a 23 yr old slut here in Brazil now. But no hard feelings. The point I am making is that it doesn't compare with south american cities in this sense. If you are a guy looking for women you would be much better off in any large south american city than in barcelona.

And I think there are many better cities in europe and the US for women as well.

Obviously every city has its beauties, but I noticed significantly less talent in barca than all the other places I mentioned.

As for madrid, the situation was worse, didn't see many young beauties on the streets at all and noticed how old the population seemed.

I´ll answer questions while my fellow country man doesn´t show up in the thread.

To start with, Spain has one of the lowest fertility rate in the old continente and it has been like this for over 30 years, you can easily see it in the streets, and it has made the competition for girls fierce. I guess the fact that many are only children and daddy's princess worsen their attitude. What are the best 2nd tier Spanish cities. Namely :

1) Not as expensive as 1st tier like Madrid, Barcelona
2) Large student population
3) Easy to walk around (taxis not needed)
4) Great nightlife
5) Not too many tourists
6) Good architecture / historic centre / good restuarants
