Kona, you're in luck. We're supposed to be in 80s by Monday. Hope you brought the surf gear.

Watch this video to get in the mood for that good L.A. weather. Mayer Hawthorne representin' the westside! http://vimeo.com/6003639

RE: Los Angeles
I just returned from California. I had a blast.

Mahalo for all of the advice you guys sent my way, I put some of it to good use.

I will post a thorough travel report after the hangover goes away.

The best thing about CA, though, is you can't help but feel like a movie star out there.

Melrose Place, Crenshaw Blvd, Rodeo Drive, and Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles are all real places! They're not just on TV.

For all of the bad things I hear about it, they have got some girls in Los Angeles.

Aloha!

RE: Los Angeles
So I am in LA now.

Anyone else in town who wants to hang out?

Also, anyone have any contacts in the adult industry here? Might be able to get a decent interview / article out of it. You contact could be a guy or a girl. Anyone with an "in" (no pun intended) on the adult scene.

PM me.

Never got to it, but Mahalo for the tip about Moonshadows.

I swooped a darker skinned but US raised east coast Italian girl at Molly Malone's on Farifax on the Saturday I was there. We drove up to Malibu on that Sunday and stopped there later in the day.

They call what Hawaiians call Poke (poh-kay), "Ahi Tartare" but it was still the real thing. That place had all around great food.

Aloha!
