Not sure I agree. I've lived in the NYC area (no guns) and ATL (guns galore) and ATL still ranks in the highest crime cities in America. People just don't go out and arm themselves en masse just because it's legal - it only affects a niche and criminals still assume innocent victims aren't carrying. Also, true criminals will get guns in any state regardless of gun laws.

yeah don't keep it in your car. That little tab can slip off the top when it bounced around and turns your entire cab into a nightmare. Same would go for letting it off intentionally...its a big cloud. Also, law enforcement frowns on it being in the cab because it is so much like mace. We had to keep ours in the trunk or truck box for work, where we actually had to deal with bears...also, don't stand downwind when firing, you just end up seasoning yourself for the bear.

I keep a 6 inch blade tucked between my driver's seat and the center console, and a heavy wooden club under the seat.

But of course the blade is just to cut my seatbelt if it gets jammed in an accident, and the club is the break the window and escape.

Thats some fucked up shit there. El mechanico is definitley on the money though about using your car as a weapon. Think about for a second. You werent doing anything wrong, you simply alerted the other driver of your presence. In response he decides to grow a sack the size of pumpkins. Somebody gets out of the car in the middle of traffic walks over to your car while ignoring all possible consequences and proceeds to attempt to harm you while possibly damaging your car. YEP, I think that calls for a little automobile discipline.

Be careful with that bear spray dude, a lot of guys I work with carry it in their trucks (to actually use on bears) and every year some dummy sprays himself playing around with the canister. They have to go to the ER and get their eyes flushed out and if you don't wash that stuff off your skin ASAP with water, the capsaicin inside the spray will burn your skin pretty bad.

Not being a bitch here but aint some of you guys scaried to carry a gun around? I mean, if i was to carry a gun around and being short temper like i am, im pretty sure i will end up killing somebody soon or later, of course there will need to be a STRONG reason for that but the thought of going to jail for life scaries the shit out of me.

I usually like to keep altercations in a traditional way, we are either going to fist fight or have a verbal argument, shooting someone for a situation that could de escalated may have me regretting when im inside that cell. I wonder if you dudes rolling out with guns would really use them in such situations.

I really doubt they carry it around on their person. That's a little extreme to bring a gun to a bar or club.
That's why they have bouncers with magic wands at the front door everywhere now. That's probably
why they started enforcing dress codes at a lot of places as well. It's easy to hide a weapon in loose fitting
baggy clothing. It's a little more difficult in form fitting club wear.

If they carry an illegal gun it's probably in the trunk of the car. Unless it's Florida then all bets are off

In GA it's legal to carry a handgun in your glovebox without a concealed carry permit. With the CC permit, it's still illegal to carry it into public areas like bars, clubs, parks, etc. However I do know people that claim to carry "99% of the time"...whatever that means. I'd have to have something tiny if I did that, I don't wear baggy clothes.
