I think that Doctor Krieger is the best character on this show.





In general I think that secondary/ancillary characters that are known for odd non sequiturs and shock/appalling humor are the best.

Randy Marsh from South Park is probably my favorite character in all of television.

I think Archer may have avoided the ire of SJWs for a couple reasons.

The most morally-upstanding and competent character on the show is guy. He is voiced by the writer/creator, Adam Reed, who comes off as pretty gay himself. His wikipedia page cites him and his "partner" but it's pretty ambiguous.

It's a cartoon. It doesn't have star voice. It is on an obscure network. And most of the fans are as far away from feminists as you can get in America. We usually don't associate with feminists on "friend terms" in our lives. No, "Hey did you see Archer last night describing the level of regret one should have when killing a whore? None. She's just a whore." talk around the water cooler.

The show is amazing til Archer Vice then I had to turn it off after the million Pam does cocaine joke. They turned from incompetent spies who always somehow managed to get the job done to flat out incompetent and rehashed all the same jokes over and over. I might check out season 6 but only once it hits Netflix which is usually when the next season premieres. This was one of my favorite kind of jokes regularly made in the previous season's.

Archer is not voiced by Adam Reed. H. Jon Benjamin, the guy that does Bob on Bob's Burger's is his voice.

I was just reading something that seemed odd to me. The creator, Adam Reed, essentially says Archer is James Bond without being "rapey". I've always known the creator is definitely not a manly man and Archer is kinda what he wants to be when it comes to women, he has said as much, but I didn't think he was quite that bad. It generally doesn't come across in the writing other than the other characters sometimes mock Archer for his views.
