so i'm in college(sophomore and i'm really considering going into a ltr with this girl. The problem is what to do with my off campus fuck buddy. I understand the general consensus that you should not appear needy but I am at odds. On one side I feel that having a girl on the side will change my behavior and sabotage the relation. On the other I do not want her to have the upper hand. Would like advice from someone in a similar scenario.

Just keep your fuck buddy. Do you plan on marrying this chick? I'm assuming no, if so there are no consequences to being 'unfaithful'. Its great to have chicks on the side. You get sick of your main, shes putting up an attitude, you feel yourself slipping to beta? Fuck a girl and it all goes away, you realize that if you lose your main you'll only be slightly inconvenienced. it'll take a bit of work, but you'll replace her with someone better within the month.

The current fuck buddy is useless for anything else. but I actually enjoy spending time with the other outside of the bedroom. The veterans on here might be right about keeping many options to avoid neediness.

It's funny when you're on the other side of it. I tend to end up "friends" with the girls I bang. I don't do friendships with girls I haven't slept with. I keep them on the aquantence level. I also don't do friendships with girls after we've dated and done the bf/gf relationship thing. It never works for me. Too many mixed emotions. It takes me a while to sort it out after a break up. I'm working on it.

Anyway back to my point ...being friends with fuckbuddies is interesting because you're on the other side of the relationship fence. Women open up to you and reveal their true nature because they start to trust you. Like friendship trust not boyfriend trust. The difference is you'll get party invites and they introduce the new boyfriend to you and play it off like you're some beta orbiter. That's fine though cause it diverts attention. That's how they work. Plus she'll be riding your cock next time they fight or break up. Just don't end up in the emotional tampon trap. It's ok if she wants to come crying to you over some guy but if she ain't throwing no pussy your way you need to cut her loose. That's how you handle these girls.
