If a man went into a complete stranger's room while she was sleeping, and somehow penetrated her before she could respond, we'd agree that this would be rape.

Consider if this man was married to her, and they had been on good terms, even having sex hours before. And he had done this before, and she had shown no signs of being upset by it. Few except feminists would consider this rape.

What did this guy do? If it were simply a matter of his girlfriend getting drunk and him banging her, you'd be hard pressed to call it rape. Clearly, something more happened.

There's a good chance the anal sex was sexual assault, perhaps rape (not really sure where assault ends and rape begins, plus he wasn't a complete stranger on platonic terms with her). She had said no to anal sex, and anal sex, for most couples, is not done with much frequency.

Somewhat off-topic, but I was trying to hook up with a girl last night in my room. I didn't get much farther than some heavy making out. I kept trying to go farther, and she wasn't having it. It just reminded me that, provided a woman is not shitfaced, and that the man doesn't savagely beat her, knock her out or tie her up, it's really not hard for a girl to avoid having sex, if that's truly what she wants. (Not talking about a stranger in the alley type scenario.) When a girl is legit not DTF, she doesn't let you take off her clothes, and will create distance if necessary, to keep it that way. It's not rocket science.

I will say something that struck me as interesting was that the boyfriend had to "convince her" that she was raped. It sounds like she didn't consider it to be rape so much as an embarrassing sexual encounter with something her "fucked up ex bf did to me once".

Like I said earlier, the only thing I'm sure of is that all the players in this game are fucked up people.
