I dunno about you guys but if someone is coming at me, he's getting his head blown off. You might fault me on this one but I'm not letting some asshole kid end my life on the account of him wanting to experiment with drugs or whatever. This wouldn't have been an issue in China, there was a guy a few months back who rushed a university with a steak knife and stabbed a bunch of students and security to death before anyone could stop him. What happened to Universities being places of higher learning, seems like now they are just camp for big kids, frat boys and starbucks drinkers.

the dude was naked what weapon did he have that justified being murdered. you should join the TSA i got my groped by them because now a white american might be a terrorist. shooting an unarmed man (naked) is never ok. all these cops have tasers and pepper sprays.

officers are trained to use deadly force only as a means of last resort.

a lot of college kids are fucked up, and there are hundreds of ways for a trained officer to subdue someone other than putting a fucking bullet through his chest.

There is no legal justification for shooting a naked person that hadn't committed a "forcible felony".

There aren't enough details available to judge. Look at the guys on bath salts, who've shown up in the news - I would not blame a cop for shooting them, if they were to lunge at a cop.

I know little about being a cop. But I'd have to ask:

How well trained is the cop in self defense?
Does the target appear to be just drunk or high, or on something like bath salts or PCP?
How big is the target and how big is the cop?
Were there other cops around to help? It was at a police station, but no other cops are mentioned.

It seems like all these college students have never dealt with cops and don't realize that they'll beat or shoot you without a second thought. Who knows what really happened though.

Ya. honestly alot of these instances sound like idiot kids venting their angry daddy issues or something. I think it happens alot in college. We would have rugby players and gym bros who would, every week like clockwork, start something with some bouncers somewhere. Really pathetic, especially considering the bouncers were quite capable of snapping their necks in a couple of moves. The bouncers had more trouble restraining themselves from doing damage than from restraining the idiots.

You cant shout and threaten a man with a gun, a uniform and a power trip and expect no consequences. Of course, he's entirely wrong to kill you for that. But really, its very STUPID to provoke someone like that. Like, how stupid can you be? It's like walking up to a rabid dog and taunting it to bite you.

Had a cop put a gun on me once and he had a lot more reason to blast me.
