It's not the demand for drugs that causes these problems; it's the fact that they're outlawed. If they weren't illegal, these things would go away.

The same issues occurred when alcohol was illegal, and then when the government came to their senses and ended Prohibition, the problems were alleviated. Yet something tells me that if alcohol were deemed illegal again tomorrow most of us on this forum would still take the "occasional" drink regardless, especially if in a friend's house behind closed doors and someone busted out a six pack.

I simply don't buy the logic that taking a toke or snorting a line equates to accessory to murder. I don't do drugs at all (nor am I all that fond of them), but if we want these warzones to dissipate, the government needs to stop acting like it's their job to tell people how to live their lives.

The war on drugs has been failing for decades and causes a lot of the problems that exist in our country, and in Mexico - not the least of which are those murders that you speak of. And yet our government ignores the evidence and keeps on pushing on; their motives for doing so are much reason for debate.

Perhaps it's Uncle Sam that should be studying the blood on his fingers...

I will be visiting Guadalajara and Mexico City for 10 days, Thurs. July 18th to Mon 29th and I would like to organize a meet-up there for any gamers who want to meet up and join me. I've already started pipelining online for female friends/wingwomen.

I have day game skills but I would love someone to wing with me for mixed sets during the day as well as night game which I'm not accustomed to because I'm not a big drinker/partier.

I lived in Colombia for 6 months so I speak fluent Spanish. i'm in my mid-30's and from L.A.

In Guadalajara i'm thinking of hitting up some of the malls like Commercial Andares during the day in Zapopan for day game
and the bars/clubs in the night like Mala Noche and Lola Lolita at night.

In Mexico City (Distrito Federal) I want to stay near Chapulete hitting up the day game there and night game in Polanco as well
as Condessa some nights for a more laid-back night game.

One tip to look out for is if you're looking at a city map, don't indicate which neighborhood you are staying in out loud as you might have an odd stranger wanting to know so that his posse can then ambush you later. This applies to many cities worldwide though...esp in Latin America.

I only visited Mexico City as it was in December 2012 with a group of three other friends. One guy was from Buenos Aires as he said Mexico DF was much cleaner/safer than BA. I personally felt much safer there than say Rio de Janeiro where you'll get a lot of suspicious looks from shady locals. DF is just too important of an international business hub where people from all over the world visit so it's a place that has it's shit together. It's a known fact that Sampa and DF are the two most important economic hubs in all of Latin America.

What I personally loved about DF is that it's a society where people take great pride in preserving their local culture yet is also one that is always looking to evolve towards a better future. It's a great mix of blue collar customs, amazing people, and world class street food yet mixed in with real cosmopolitan vibe. I don't want to pick on Rio de Janeiro again but it's a city that just feels...too complacent & lazy for a place that is so well-known on the global radar possessing the most expensive rent in the world. There are people out there that adore Rio bc of the laidback Carioca style and that aforementioned "complacent vibe," but it was too underwhelming for my tastes especially when you factor in the city's position on the international scene & skyrocketing prices with such limited cultural options, IMO.

With all that is being written on here, I can't wait to try Monterrey next and Guadalajara too.

As for street food..I just recommend staying away from mayonnaise as it might not have been refrigerated at times while the lettuce can be an iffy proposition if not washed properly. If looking to season up your food, there usually are pickled vegetables that you can mix in with whatever you're eating so I recommend that.

I was in mexicali about a month ago, everything seemed pretty safe except I had to pay off the cops once. How did you prevent the robbery?

Yeah mexicalli seemed cool... this all took place in San Louis. I just caught the attempt super early, and got super aggressive/very unpredictably with the one who was trailing me close... long story I dont feel like writing.

But, I called it one of life shit tests. Because I left my group of friends in a strip club(I was there for a baseball game my friend was in and I hung out with the team after). But, immediately after the set-up I found a concert, with the hottest most approachable chicks ever. THis was the uppercrust. THey had a good cover to enter. I met a group of 6 lizards that were fun and engaging.
So immediately I head back to get some wingmen. By then they were pissed and worried because, all they knew was i disappeared.(Remember one of us had gotten kidnapped)
At that point everyone wanted to go back home to the states. It was about 3:30-4:00AM. So we left...SMH
I vow to return.

I was in Reynosa three weeks ago. My boy and I had been club hoppin in McAllen. I wake up and he has me on the border. I have no passport but he says it's cool.

4am in a border town. We head to the strip club. Need to cab it there. Catch a cab and we are post up at a gas station near the entrance. There is a hamburger stand right in front the gas station. Maybe three or four people there. We order a burger. My boy dips off to the bathroom. One of the dud tells me 12 bucks. Cool I give him a 20 and he goes down the street to make change. He comes back and give me about 90 pesos back then walks off. The cat making the burger says its 12 bucks. I tell him I just paid his boy. He said thats not his boy. 4 am in Mexico, I didnt want to argue about the hustle so I paid him off.

I didnt realize the signs. Dude was dressed in all black with a walkie talkie on blast. Drove an uparmored truck. No pistol on him or it wasnt visible. Dude was a Narco who got me for 12 bucks haha. Probably a lookout. Who gives change after they already got 20 from you? More than likely a hustle but who knows.

My boy said hes been therr four or five times in the last two months. One morning hes at the same spot and two black SUVs pull up. AKs and body armored up Narcos coming to eat.

As long as you arent in the game or looking for trouble you are safe in 95% of Mexico. Do t look like a mark, walk with your head up, know which areas you should hang around in, keep your head on a swivel and you are golden.

I love Mexico.

Guys, these experiences sound amazing, and Mexico seems untapped right now! I can't beleive I just found this forum randomly. Goldmine!

For those who have spent some time in D.F. or Guadalajara, could you guys give me an analytical breakdown of the game you used down there in Mexico? Did you prefer Day game or Night game?

If you did day game, are you playing Direct (compliments/asking out) or Indirect (jokes/rapport). If you used night game, did you play Nice Guy or Jerk?

I want to get a sense for the culture in bigger ciites like D.F. I live in Los Angeles and here , to score with the hotter girls,
I pretty much use day, indirect game to get numbers. Night game is a bit useless here for the extremely attractive girls. Just too much competiton due to the size of city.

I also lived in Colombia in 4 different cities and it was almost all Day game with both Indirect and Direct/Nice guy game. In the night everyone was closed-off due to the culture.

But In Lima, Peru I made a huge mistake of trying Day Game but the culture was so closed off that unless girls have 2 or 3
cocktails in them, they act like nervous 16 year olds. I got numbers and went on mini 1st and 2nd dates, sometimes 3rd without a kiss..... What a freaking waste.

I'm Indian so I don't have the "gringo" blonde-haired, blue-eyed shock factor going for me and can't exploit girls' Harold & Kumar fantasies like I do here in the states! I have to run serious game!

I don't know if there's any such thing as "Latin slut mode" in Mexico. Whatever that means. Others can chime in, but I didn't see girls getting wasted and acting crazy and slutty like drunk Australian or British girls. If you want that, then chase some gringas on spring break in Cancun. Mexican women generally aren't into binge-drinking and acting crazy. It's not really in their culture.

I don't think race is as big a deal in Mexico as some Latin countries. I'm black and dark complexioned and I didn't have any problems. I think if you look 100% indigenous that may be a problem.

Its not that Mexican girls have no ass. Its just that Mexico is such a diverse country. Its like asking if American girls have big asses. Some do and some dont. Usually the Mexican girls who are more indigenous looking have the least ass or have the infamous pancake asses. People shoud head to northern Mexico. You will be surprised in the huge contrast in beauty.

If there are even just a few incidents of tourists getting killed, where its obvious there is fowl play, and Mexico as a whole loses money. This includes the cartels who own Resorts. I am sure its known that anyone physically attacking a gringo will be dealt with by the cartels directly. Sure, if you fuck some gangsters girlfriend then he is going to lose his head. But if you are just walking around, the worst that should happen is getting robbed.

Think about it. There are SO many rich MExicans who can be kidnapped, jacked, etc without drawing as much heat from the police and attention in the press, etc. Why would they choose a gringo? You have to come here to Mexico to understand that tourists are just not a big target because the return on risk is not as good as some of these loaded Mexican businessmen, etc..

Now if you are hiking in rural Michoacan or Sonora, then you might dissappear. And don't go looking for drugs near your hotel with a balcony. Both are good places for an "accident". But other than that, the risk to tourists is mostly just hype. Its FAR more dangerous to go walking in the Detroit ghetto. No one there gives a SHIT that you are white. There you will just be another statistic...

What IS dangerous here is the chance of getting hit by a taxi or bus. I am WAY more scared of crossing the street in the daytime here with 200 people around, than of walking down the middle of an empty street in the middle of the night. Cars and people are like a ballet here. Oh, and the absolutely MOST DANGEROUS thing in Mexico, bar none, is the potholes in the sidewalks. Those things are lethal and no one seems to care about them. WATCH YOUR STEP!!!! You can easily cripple yourself. I am not kidding I have seen so many giant holes that would swallow your leg right in the middle of the sidewalk I have lost count. I would love to see the statistics on those things...

Well time to take a nap in my $5.00 hotel room in Xalapa downtown. Its very basic but hey, its $5.00 and later I'll hit on the college girls...

By the way, Oaxaca city is not that great for chicks unless you are already a big lady's man. Could be alright for a month or longer though. Supposedly the Oaxaca coast is quiet this time of year too, because of the rain.

Tell me a little more about Zacatecas. I will be landing this week to Guadalajara but im also thinking of going to Zacatecas, not only the city but also Fresnillo and other cities in Zacatecas since my family is from there. Relatives of mying are saying that it isnt looking to good there and the US government has adviced against going there, especially the Fresnillo area.

Think about it. There are SO many rich MExicans who can be kidnapped, jacked, etc without drawing as much heat from the police and attention in the press, etc. Why would they choose a gringo? You have to come here to Mexico to understand that tourists are just not a big target because the return on risk is not as good as some of these loaded Mexican businessmen, etc..

Now if you are hiking in rural Michoacan or Sonora, then you might dissappear. And don't go looking for drugs near your hotel with a balcony. Both are good places for an "accident". But other than that, the risk to tourists is mostly just hype. Its FAR more dangerous to go walking in the Detroit ghetto. No one there gives a SHIT that you are white. There you will just be another statistic...

What IS dangerous here is the chance of getting hit by a taxi or bus. I am WAY more scared of crossing the street in the daytime here with 200 people around, than of walking down the middle of an empty street in the middle of the night. Cars and people are like a ballet here. Oh, and the absolutely MOST DANGEROUS thing in Mexico, bar none, is the potholes in the sidewalks. Those things are lethal and no one seems to care about them. WATCH YOUR STEP!!!! You can easily cripple yourself. I am not kidding I have seen so many giant holes that would swallow your leg right in the middle of the sidewalk I have lost count. I would love to see the statistics on those things...

By the way, Oaxaca city is not that great for chicks unless you are already a big lady's man. Could be alright for a month or longer though. Supposedly the Oaxaca coast is quiet this time of year too, because of the rain.

Tell me a little more about Zacatecas. I will be landing this week to Guadalajara but im also thinking of going to Zacatecas, not only the city but also Fresnillo and other cities in Zacatecas since my family is from there. Relatives of mying are saying that it isnt looking to good there and the US government has adviced against going there, especially the Fresnillo area.

Generally, what the US Gov't (USG) mentions in their alerts is so broad and categorized that one should somewhat disregard their warnings.

Back to the point, Zacatecas is a small city where the Zetas are in power and do pretty much what they want. There have been many shootouts ending in many dead people, mostly bad guys though. For the normal population, they just have to: pay their dues, mind their business, not be too flashy (unless you pay your dues).

Women should avoid looking attractive, narcos will harass them until they become their hamster.....eventually a rival narco will kill the girlfriend. I would rather look normal and live than dress up, get an escalade as a gift, and die 1-2 years later.

You will enjoy your trip, just don't honk your horn in traffic or try to game every girl in an "well off" establishment. Statistically you will run into a narco's girl and he will tell you to fuck off. If he is the crazy kind, who knows what will happen. Also, avoid the Fresnillo area.

the parts of Mexico I recommend for female beauty are northern mexico and parts of central mexico (sinaloa, Jalisco, Zacatecas, Guanajuato). all the other parts, you better want to get darker chicks.
