Thompson is the best, some of my favorite quotes are by him. It always pisses me off when people dismiss him as some druggie hedonist, the guy really understood American society, so much that he spent his life running from it.

The below quote is from a famous book called "The Razor's Edge" by Somerset Maugham. The entire book, but this quote in particular I think would resonate with a lot of men here. We lead unconventional and unique lives that many people do not understand. But no doubt about it, our lifestyles are having an impact and encouraging other men to think, and leave the confines of their comfort zones. This isn't a dry run. We all know this, and strive to be the best we can be with the limited years we've been given. And if we leave nothing in this world, at least the wisdom, stories, and advice shared on this forum alone will remain even after we're gone so that others may learn.

This confused and hurt me so bad for at least three years. I was reading red pill material but this was so confusing and painful. She is the sole reason why I will never trust women.The woman that you look for comfort and warmth looked at me with disgust it really hurts. We still talk but the tears and humiliation I faced is something I never will forget. Got a lot of stories I can write in the future about my past. Thanks again for the opportunity of letting me join.
