While at a club I met a hot girl there and we hooked up but I didn't get a snl. However, we had plans to go on a date this weekend. Unfortunately we didn't exchange names that night (or we didn't remember). And unfortunately we just found out I have the same name as her older brother and she is now saying it would be awkward to think of someone with her brothers name sexually (ridiculous in my view but whatever). Now she is getting cold feet saying she does not want to waste my time.

Any advice on how to proceed? Maybe give myself a nickname? can this be salvaged?

sounds like she got typical flake-iness cold feet, but at least she texted you back a bullshit excuse than just put you on radio silence.

personally, i would either a) ignore that comment and push for the hangout date, or b) go balls-2-the-walls and make a lewd comment about how she is so fucking weird for thinking of incest whenever she hears a name that rings familiar.

Ya I will do that. It's just odd because we probably exchanged like 100 texts through the week and she was the one who came up with the idea we should actually meet and then she finally asked my name and then got flakey - so assumed maybe there was room to turn it around.
