I am a swinger and in that lifestyle and be default my world crosses with BDSM. I am on Fetlife as I thought it might be some hidden nugget. In all honestly the BDSM is just like regular life but for weirdo and freaks. You still get the ego and bitch shields but from 3's 4's and 5's.

And unless you have to put in a lot of legwork to gain some traction. Since the scene is small in whatever City your in large or small there are parties and social things you have to go to be be seen. Its literally just a Facebook for World of Warcraft players, fat people, or nymphos. They whore and troll on it just like FB. At the Swinger club the staff will be busy trolling Fetlife like FB instead of serving drinks and attending to us.

Plus is hard to actually search for women. you can't strait up search for shit via gender. The only way to screen shit is to pin point your fetishes and browse through there, or to scan groups or events in your City and kind of just peg them off that way.

The only way to weasel it is to go after the newbies whom just sign up and don't know the shit or the site. I am messging two girls whom are 'newbies' right now. Generally specialised fetishes websites have lower quality and quantity. Fetlife is no different. While the people that run the website can "fix" the quantity by simply creating more profiles or claiming they have millions of users near you (an impossibility for any dating website) they cannot find a quick fix for the quality of women. This should come as no surprise since you register in a specialized fetish website (be that for those that love BDSM, cougars, feet or whatever gets you off..) in order to explore that particular fetish, not necessarily to meet the hottest women. If you are there, your fetish should be more important than your search of hot women.

Fetlife is also slowly being infiltrated by women who are only there for money in one way or another. One woman admitted to me, "I'm a cam whore." Some have their Amazon wish lists right on their profiles.

I did find European women to be better than American ones.

What has been said above is definitely true--if you aren't willing to go to at least one event FetLife isn't going to be the most friendly choice for you. Those events (typically a munch/social is what you'd attend first) are how you get "cred" in the local group. There's two cities that have munches within 30 minutes of me (the local city, then the next major college town over), and for this area you have to attend both to get to know those folks before they'll "let you in".

Before you think, "I have no free time and can attend groups like this, I'm gonna' be swimming in pussy!" beware!
