William dumped Kate a few years ago and went full playboy, then took her back shortly before they got engaged. Harry has got it a lot better though, since he's not the eldest he doesn't have all the responsibility his brother has, so he can basically fuck around as he pleases.

Kate is very carefully stage managed so, she has access to the best of everything. One thing I really like about her is that she wears stockings a great deal, so much so that she has increased the sales of hosery. Reason why there was so much furore over a (kind of average) Pippa Middleton: she's actually not average at all for the UK as a whole, and neither is Kate (even now!). People ragged on Krauser for going after foreign girls almost exclusively but I can't blame him for it.
