So I have a 1st date with a 9/10 Serbian hottie next week so I'm just wondering what you guys usually talk about and ask the girl during dates?

I know some of you have some personal favourites to ask/talk about that work wonders and build a bond. And yes I know it depends on the chick, but generally speaking here.

I have a list of really good rapport questions that I picked up back in the day. Don't have it with me. It has questions like "if you could be famous for anything, what would it be?" I've used the questions on that list to revive many dying conversations. These days I make it up as I go along but that list was invaluable at that time.

Rule of thumb is that anything that gets them talking about themselves on an emotional level is good. Makes for good conversation too provided she is somewhat self aware and intelligent.

Example: bad game would be asking her if she has siblings. Good game would be "I bet you're the youngest sibling, you really have that little sister spoiled princess going on" - or "you know you're really cool, I bet you grew up with a brother, i bet you were a tomboy as a kid ... do you get on well with other girls though?" then take it from there. This kind of stuff is great for rapport.

It's the same principle as when people go to psychics: there is no punishment for wrong guesses (girls correct you and forget about them) and huge rewards for correct guesses ("oh my god! How did you know?! This is so weird!!").

Also learn astrology and guess her sign, know the basic characteristics of the signs and back up your guess. I once somehow managed to guess a girl's sign and her birthday (pure luck!) - you should have seen her face. One my my fastest seductions ever.

Finally: canned routines. Roissy has some solid ones on his blog. Also your own stories; practice telling anecdotes in an engaging way and memorize them.

Set up more dates so you won't feel like the world depends on this date with this 9/10. Then you will be more laid back and not trying to impress her so much and she will notice. It really doesn't matter what you say, it's how you say it and the vibe you give off.

Serbian are tricky.I would agree with polish rumble that they are mostly interested in family,tradition and sports.In any case I would talk about Serbian football and basketball players.Also Serbian history.Family status etc.

Google serbia. Learn about some popular dish in their language, find places you want to visit that many people don't know, find some famous serbian person and talk about it.

American girls won't give a crap if you talk about how you like this place, food and famous person.
(would they be impressed if you can say 'how are you?' I bet she would be impressed if you can say 'how are you' in serbian. If you say some slangs, she will even flip out)

They will love it if you know just little about their country.

What's wrong to appear as knowledgeable person about her country? (even though he studied it right before the date)

Just remember long silences can work in your favour. They will make her uncomortable and force her to qualify herself to you. Granted you are displaying higher value with your body language.

Interesting responses. I agree that I should know at least what their dishes mainly consist of or something, and lead that subject to her cooking for me, etc.

not good advice at all.. it reeks of some kind of canned question that you would ask in REALLY bad desperation mode and having any kind of canned questions really just means you need to learn to be more of a conversationalist...

Conversations are a fluid thing.. Any conversation with any
different person will be different.. Conversation with women really is not hard at all.. If ever there is an "awkward silence", just smile and jokedly ask something ridicolous like "I hate the fucking Giants, can you believe they somehow they won the superbowl last year" or "I hate american idol and everything it stands for, but simon cowell was kinda funny" You say that and she'll never shut up.. There are a million other topics and things to talk about.. When youre on a date with a hottie, just think of her as a cousin and you wont be so intimadated

/shrug. I don't like the idea much myself--I'd prefer just talking--but I have noticed that many women really actually love that sort of thing, so there's actually some merit to it.

If you haven't read Bang by Roosh yet, you should. Because his explanation of the "thread" nature of rambling conversation is really the essence of being conversational. Whether its with a girl you're trying to bang, or with anyone. Every kernel that someone says gives you a chance to respond to it in a way that you decide, hence controlling the frame, and hopefully being funny.

I heard a great story on NPR once about the art and practice of good improv acting and comedy. The legend/expert dude they were interviewing said that the key to great improv is to never reject someones line or idea and to always roll with it. Don't change subjects don't ignore, roll with it and see where it goes. If you're doing a good job of being interesting, she'll want to follow your threads and the excitement of it will help her think of her own additions and before you know it you'll have bonded with each other a little. Its really kind of the same as talking to anyone else you meet, except don't forget the kino and try to sexualize the conversation when possible. Even a "thats what she said" comment is enough to sexualize the convo.

I don't consciously have topics in mind when on a date, I'm just in the mentality that whatever is said first I am crafty enough to find something to say.
