The language they use here is fucking awful. Does anyone know what avoidant means? I can't stand academics who use such opaque language.

Is avoidance analogous to 'affectionate-ness'? That someone who is low on avoidance is affectionate? Or they avoid getting emotionally invested?

Interesting test. I'm not surprised that people on this forum tend to gravitate toward the left side of the graph but the variation on the "avoidance" axis is interesting. Maybe it reflects a difference in game styles (aloof vs. emphasizing emotional connection), or maybe it's just measuring something that isn't all that relevant to game whereas not being attached to any one girl is absolutely essential for a successful player.
