Hey guys, I'm in a bit of a budget problem at the moment.

So a standard cell phone with contract here is pushing like a hundred to two hundred bucks.

A burner phone with a SIM card (like a few hundred minutes of talking per month and maybe a few hundred texts, not sure) is roughly fifty bucks.

Supposing you had no phone, how would you run game differently? I'm having huge issues with women flaking on me. I literally go to their apartments, give them a piece of paper saying "tonight-at here- go on such-and-such street", etc; but they still won't show up. I have to go to three or four different girls just to get one to show up. And oftentimes they just don't.

There's so many dicks in this town that a woman can just walk down the street, smile, and leave with a man (dressed to the nines and loaded) who will buy her dinner and drinks. I'm almost convinced they run into fuckbuddies on the subway station while they're going to meet me. With no phone I practically have to be a damned film-noir detective just to meet up with these girls.

That's like asking, "I want to be a writer, but I don't have a laptop, paper, or pen." I find it hard to believe there is no prepaid plan. Even the States have many options under $40/month (Cricket, Virgin Mobile, T Mobile prepaid, etc.). You're not trolling?

Fix your money game first. Otherwise go for the one-night stand in low-end bars.

I have no cellphone service right now and in past too, it really hampers making friends and relations. U should get one, I will have one later though.

I'm not trolling, just frustrated, it's been like maybe forty-fifty pretty decent cold approaches in the last three days and I haven't been sleeping much. I even went out with my Syrian friends to meet women because I thought that rolling solo was intimidating the local girls, but it turns out that isn't the case. They just sort of feed off your attention for maybe an hour, excuse themselves, and leave.

I've just been too busy to buy a mobile phone and was wondering if there was a way to just avoid getting one. I don't ever use one back in the States.

I'll have to keep the one-night stand thing in mind I guess. My roommate has been having somewhat OK success with social circle game.

These days a cell phone is almost as much as a requirement for getting laid as having a functioning cock. You don't need a fancy iPhone or whatever, but at least something basic that lets you do calls and texts. Not only does not having a cell phone result in massive logistical hurdles, as you've found out, but it's an enormous DLV. The only people you would expect to not have cell phones at this point are the homeless or the mentally ill. To women you're trying to game especially, the idea of not having a cell phone is unthinkable. Once they hear you don't have a phone they're going to think you're from another planet, and not in a cool, mysterious kind of way, but in a "this guy must be poor as fuck and socially retarded" kind of way.

I recommend you look into cheap phones and plans from Virgin Mobile and other discount carriers. You should be able to find low end plans for $25-$30 a month that will allow you the minimum amount of calling and texting to clear logistical hurdles. If you really can't find $30 a month for a phone (a practical necessity these days) then you have bigger problems than game at the moment and need to address those first.

Alrighty. I wasn't 100% aware of all that. I can fork over the money for a phone, was just curious if someone else goes out and doesn't use a phone at all.

I've been telling most of the women here something along the lines of "so and such, my plane just landed here ten hours ago, my phone is Verizon and isn't unlocked, etc". They don't see much wrong with it but are still pretty flakey. Many of my tourist friends have similar issues even though they have phones.

i forget my phone at home all the time lol.

either have them program your number in their phone and make sure they call it, send a text right then & there, or write their number on a piece of paper.

you still need a fucking phone though. it's 2012 afterall.

Agree with what's been said, but you don't need a phone to get same night lays.

Occasionally I meet chicks traveling who only have email. I banged an Aussie in Germany that way. But a girl who lives in a city, has her own phone, and her own social circle, would probably not put up with that for long.

Google voice. You can forward the number to a land line for calls.

There's also free websites for sending text messages. You can text to phone numbers through gmail chat and AOL instant messenger.

I'm been hanging with lots of younger girls lately. They have no money. Some have no cell phones. I hate to say it but they communicate online through Facebook a lot. If they're at a party on Friday or Saturday night then they're on the computer there talking on Facebook.

Even more fucked up ...they have laptops they carry around to parties just so they can use the wifi to Facebook and talk to guys.

You're not gonna gain any status points by not having a cellphone. Logistically speaking ...an iPhone is a player's best friend. It's a status symbol and an indispensable tool.

If you don't have a phone, you need to be going for the ONS or making use of facebook chat/messaging. I can't think of any conceivable way you could get around that block otherwise.

no biggie. when you want to exchange numbers take her phone put your nmber in it and call your cell phone. make that exchange fun. if you're cool with her she won't take it as being insecure

I got a few phone numbers last night. I must have ripped through a whole pack of smokes and I'm still pretty hungover. I was out dancing to hardstyle for like five hours.
