Southern Illinois at in Carbondale (home to SIU, a major party campus), Cairo, or St. Louis?

If it's Southern Illinois as in Urbana-Champaign (which is more central Illinois), then enjoy life near a fine Big 10 school.

It depends on what county I'd be working in, but my cousin lives in Carmi, IL...which I heard sucks, but he goes out of town every weekend.
He said that if I were to move up he'd probably want to move to Evansville because that's closest city.

Also, I lived in St. Louis for 4 months already this year(April-July), didn't really care for it...although I really like Morgan Street Brewery.

Damn....this will be my 4th state I've lived in this year...haha
