I am back in Northern California after 6 months in Ukraine and a few weeks in Poland. I am white, 5'9", 180 (fat with some muscle) and mid-50's.

I was going through money too fast, unwilling to live within my $1100 independent monthly income --even though it was possible, I was just too sloppy.

Twenties chicks for the most part would not easily go for me, via internet they all think they have a boyfriend in Western Europe, who is of course scamming them for the most part-- visits, fucks them, strings them along. However, I did meet a very smart 6 who had a Spanish guy paying for her to "go to school" in Spain which would get a visa she could leverage into permanently staying. They also have local boyfriends if they are 8+. However, I did go on dates with cheerleader hot, petite chicks from 20-26; which type would run for the hills screaming "uncool! old guy!" if I hit on them here.

Coming back from there, I unexpectedly ended up rooming with some Ivy League chick grads who were about 27. It was really hard for me to believe how bizarre their thinking was after being in Eastern Europe. They were like missionaries for environmental causes, and actually were angry at me because I was largely apolitical. They had a strange absolute certainty they were right about everything. They discussed trafficking of women in Asia. One was huge, maybe 220. She referred to drug-fueled violence she saw in a rural bar as a "male thing"; and she and her roommate referred to guys commonly as "jerks" when the guys did not act as they saw fit.

They showed the complete lack of interest and lack of questions Roosh describes, even though I was a world traveler and had many lifetime experiences they would have benefited from. They seemed like robots to me after Slavic women.

I am going to work another year, which should bring my monthly income up to about $1400/month. This will also be enough in rural Italy ( I know its not enough for Milan) or Poland where I eventually want to settle.

No flag, but my game sucks and I was quite overwhelmed by the huge culture shock and, unexpectedly, the large dietary changes in Ukraine.

Landlord problems were also pretty bad and unexpected. In one apartment the militia showed up because the electric bill hadn't been paid. It turned out they were at the wrong apartment, but having 4 people knock at your door, two of them uniformed, was quite unsettling.

Then when I complained about the microwave being dead, the landlord said it must have been that I turned it on with nothing in it, and wanted me to pay for the microwave that had never worked.

It's not even that they're trying to rip you off, they are just literally incapable of modern, rational thought -- they think in some sort of weird voodoo causality. "I bought a microwave and it worked at one time, now it doesn't so it must be this tenants fault."

Everyone expects bad service and dishonesty, and that has a lot of follow-on effects such as friends not being supportive when you get ripped off etc; simply because it is an everyday fact of life.

Worst of all the microwave was a Ukrainian brand, many products you buy in Ukraine not only break quickly, but they do not even do the task INITIALLY that they are purported to do. The idea that I was responsible was pretty laughable.

In the other apartment I lived in, despite insisting with the agent that I needed an apartment with good hot water there was really none. The landlady tried to get me to buy a new hot water heater.

The saving grace was my loyal Polish-Ukrainian maid, who had a plumber friend who was a Jehovah's Witness. I avoid them in the states, but he was a straight shooter who cleaned out the old hot water heater cheaply.

The landlady cleverly delayed my attempts to test the hot water when initially viewing aparttment, saying they would turn it on when I moved in. NEVER, NEVER believe something like that.

I need a high protein diet but don't eat red meat and it was somewhat hard to do in Ukraine until I found the delicious home-made cottage cheese sold at markets. There is nothing like in Murka.

I don't want to comment on the girls because my official position is that Giant Unsanitary Refrigerator Ukraine is a horrible place.

While I was in a western Ukrainian city, I googled online for some store information and I started to find my posts from here showing up in the first few hits on Google, so I do not want to popularize where I went.

I guess the main point I have is that it can be hard just getting a physically comfortable place to stay where you aren't hassled in some way.

Getting in shape and going a lot harder would be important too.

Some VERY young girls looked interested. To be bluntly arrogant--they are smart, I've got a 140 IQ, doctorate, artistically talented AND EU and American dual citizenship-- their kids would have vast advantages outside of Ukraine.

Welcome back Ike, missed your writing.
Not sure why everybody is so hard on you. I commend you on taking the plunge.
To the younger guys - in life you reach a point whereby you realize you will not live forever. Seeing your parents age and attending more funerals changes your mindset. For some guys the urge is strong, for me not as strong but I realize it has to be done. I don,t want the state to inherit what I have worked hard for.

if you ha ve kids with a 3rd world country chick and live out of country, she will americanize ,leave , and your kid will never fully be your kid. She gets custody and child barely know you ,did i mention child support and alimony since she needs money to support child and cant work. BIG MISTAKE. Mid life crisis mode will end and you will find greener pastures , if you sytill want a whiny kid g oto phillpines atleast yuo ca nlive there and family will help ,but eastern europeans are not ideal. What if someone just wants to travel around and plant there seed in some women and then take off? That way you can have kids without having the hassle of actually having them. It may be a little immoral and fucked up but its some solid logic.

IKE thanks for the update.

Were you actively trying to bang these girls or did you decide to take it slow up-front? Did you decide not to press hard for bangs? What were your main sticking points? How much of a problem was the language barrier?

You're in it for the LTR and having kids, so that changes things a bit from what we usually discuss here but would be interesting to get an idea of what the barriers were.

1. The forum is not about being politically correct. That is actually fairly low on the list of priorities here.

2. The forum's focus goes well beyond merely gaming girls. We talk about lifestyles associated with game (which would include eventual family formation for some), travel, and everything else.

We generally do not talk about Pay-for-Play or how to get at underaged targets here-those are the main limitations. There is no prohibition on the discussion of impregnation/family formation, and there is no need for one.

Average male life expectancy in the USA is 76 years, and increasing. Assuming you hit this, your kid will be not much younger than 26 before you're gone, and well out of college.

uh... I think the answer is...being really stupid!!!

I'm a very shy guy that struggles greatly with approaches. I've improved somewhat, but when under stress I regress.
Also, I felt very stressed, definitely suffering from mild/moderate depression and sometimes kind of ill. It went down to minus 20 or 30 while I was there. I was also working on projects I don't want to go into too much detail about that took a lot of energy.

It's interesting reading your honest report from the Ukraine as it's from the perspective of an older guy. I don't have much to add really,I'm younger then you and have not lived your life so I won't patronize you by saying "if I'd been there I'd have...." etc. Who knows what I will or won't do when I'm in my 50's? You say you want LTR, not just sex. What I've found is that you should start off a relationship as a fling and let the LTR come naturally whenever it comes. I dont know exactly what when wrong with your dating, maybe your dating game could use some work. Perhaps you are letting your intentions of LTR be known too soon? If so, that can give off a vibe of desperation which obviously is a turnoff.

I think IKE knows what he's dealing with over there and needs to recalibrate. One thing I would do is ball a bit to get to the place I need to be and then settle into my budget later. That is something I swear by in the FSU,dropping big in the beginning. Women there are searching for a man of means,and they do so far more aggressively then in Western Europe. Woudl you go as far as to say for a D2 or D3 an expensive restaurant would increase your bang probability in Ukraine and FSU?
