I know this is just a TV show and in real life Louis CK is probably not like this, but this is the most beta shit I have ever seen in my life. The reason I bring it up is because, as an American kid raised on TV from the 80's and 90's, I unfortunately relate to this kind of behavior. This is the way TV told us guys to talk to women lol. The thought was, if you poured your heart out to a chick, put all your emotions out there on the table, then there was no way she wouldn't fall for you. If you were nice and a gentlemen, then eventually she'd fuck you right? In real life a chick like Pamela would have Louie as an emotional man pillow while on the weekends she gets fucked by an alpha.

I think (hope) Louis is kind of making fun of people like that in this clip here, but still this is seriously the way a lot of guys try to get girls. I mean does shit like this ever work?

At least the show gives a realistic depiction of how girls actually respond to that shit. She rejects him and runs off to France to fuck her asshole ex-husband. But yeah I have no idea why Louie portrays himself so over the top beta in the TV series when it comes to women. Maybe he used to be like that and thinks it's funny.

His show is a comedy about showing how life really is, like how fucked up things are. This is just him playing a character that most guys can relate to and say "oh shit, this is funny because it is so real." In the show he plays an awkward beta.

Yeah, that's a real good scene. Accurate reaction and pretty sad.

But she offers to take a bath with him when they get back to her apartment. And fuck I think the implication from that was. But Louie was so bummed out that he just says no and starts to leave. Realizes what she said, asks her to clarify, and she acknowledges what she said and changes her mind.

Of course, being the Beta IS the schtick. Like most good comedy, it is painful and one step away from tragedy.

I'll never forget the first time I heard Louis CK talk about the difference between boys and girls. Boys are understandable, they will break things, mess things up.

Girls? "Girls will shit in your heart."

But of course, only if you are a beta.
