Seems like you are an absolute machine to run your business, be a dad, run your home and meet lots of women.
Haha no. Maybe I meant to say like a cheap flea market watch without all the bullshit of having a girl here all the time. Example: I know I don't want to clean my house so I pay someone every week to do it. If I had a girl here she would say I'm wasting money and my house would be a mess. Actually I
over sleep and show up to work around 10 am most days. My life is completely dysfunctional but it's my dysfunction not someone elses.

I could not agree more. I am 43 also and have gone through all those steps too many times. Making my first trip to Poland, Ukraine and Czech in the spring of 2013.

Asking a woman if she can cook, will probably get a guy told off.

Funny enough the last woman I dated complained at how much I went out to eat, but she didn't cook!

I guess when you have abundance your standards for a relationship get 'quite high' (as in, expect the woman to give more value than just sex).

I agree that it is very difficult to find girls that are good LTR material in the US but they do exist - just much harder to find than in other countries. I believe the demographics for a good LTR girl is different than girls you can pull on a SNL. She's a different animal and as such has to be hunted differently. The question becomes how do you find and get these girls. I suppose that would be a whole different topic...

Its like buying a girl fake boobs. You can enjoy them for a while, but eventually someone else will be getting off on them.

Buying a woman Jewelry I remember doing that. Bought my share of earrings, rings and necklaces. I guess I need to find a woman worthy of it. Who would actually appreciate it.

A friend who has a Russian wife after a decade she still gets excited when he brings her home her favorite candies. Find me an American woman who would still show appreciation for the little things after 10 years. I may put a ring on that one.

Agreed it is sad, but I always know it is going to end, so why invest too much money.

Need to re-examine your own context, you shouldn't feel this way.

I am red pilling a guy recently, he had a great conversion when i told him "you shouldn't have to feel ashamed of your libido".

it's the same with me now and food. i was over-weight because I let to bad bad choices enter my space.

I need good, healthy food. I can cook it myself no problem, but I'll be fucked if I let some person, let alone a woman, interfere with that because she is lazy.

If she is legitimately unskilled, prays ignorance but is willing to be better, I can live with that if she is hot, she can be trained.

But don't bring bad food patterns into my sphere.

Make good food something she has to qualify with, not something you should be afraid to demand or avoid altogether.

I know this is preaching to the choir but I agree with pretty much everyone here, I can't tell how many times I've heard women proudly say they can't cook. How can a person be proud of that? It's ok if you don't know how to cook if you never learned but at least try to make an effort to learn.

(08-24-2012 02:56 PM)ImWaitingForTheMan Wrote:  And sometimes they claim they can cook and they suck at it. Or they can actually cook but it's only those fucking vegan dishes. I'm a man and I need meat.

Definitely, I've had the same experience, the few that do cook always claim they are great cooks, then they go and make something and it's usually a huge disappointment, it's either bland or just plain sucks. I haven't met a girl yet that was indeed a great cook, but oh well, at least these making an effort.

Indeed

My wife is the one who actually came over and cooked

Women used to know this. There was that saying, "the way to a mans heart is through his stomach." but that's been forgotten, even though every second show on tv is a cooking show.

Cooking is obviously not the only thing that matters but it does matter a lot in a relationship, how can women nowadays not realize this?

This kills foreign women. They expect to come over and have something to do. Last week a Dominican girl pitched a fit if I walked out of the kitchen, as she was bestowing upon me several local recipes. Good luck finding a girl in the U.S. that does that. They cook out of necessity, and take no pride in it.

American women shit when they see this. In their eyes, I'm a keeper, and they don't ever have to cook. They give up the pussy quickly, and are kicked to the curb pronto. I hold them to the standard. If they can't cook or clean, like me, then they are deemed useless. How can they expect equality between when they can't even take care of themselves?

Gents, become self-sufficient, so you never have to relay on a woman...Period.

THis. I've had this happen as well, as soon as they realize I have it together, that I keep my place clean and organized, that I buy groceries and cook it's like a little light lights up in their eye, they even tell me how great it is that I cook and that I can cook for them. I always have to refrain from rolling my eyes and just think "ok, after I get tired of having sex with you you're history".

Now, I don't mean that I need a woman to do things for me, I like being self sufficient and like cooking (and do it better than most women), but it is nice when they also make the effort and do it sometimes.

When I was younger I was out drinking and me and my friends started flirting with a group of girls. One of them mad a comment about how she can't cook anything and I immediately blurted out "Minus one million points!"

She got real nasty real quick. Being drunk I compounded it by telling her she "has no excuse not to know how to cook, You're Italian. Didn't your mom, or grandma or aunts teach you?"

Didn't get the bang.

Women don't know how to cook because not knowing how to cook is a sign of their imperfection. The narrative being pushed is that imperfections are what make girls attractive to men, because it makes them seem human or real. It's an absurd idea, but it's the one that's promoted.

You'll notice this when girls write dating profiles. They'll write something like "I can't cook, I tell corny jokes and watch too much Netflix" or something in that vein because they think that's gonna get someone other than a thirsty simp interested. What they don't understand is that being intentionally imperfect is just annoying.

It's like people who say they suck at math. They think it makes them relateable, where I just think it makes them stupid.

I'll temporarily stand up and take credit for this... if I'm wrong just give a shoutout.

Yesterday there was an ROK article titled "Should you live with her?" I didn't even read the whole thing, but immediately I thought about this thread and what Elmec talked about in his OP.

After doing the whole 'mining the RVF' thing and reading through most of the cream of the crop throughout the short history of the forum, this post is one of the few that stood out as kind of a tenet never to be forgotten. So I remembered it pretty much instantly.

So when that ROK story came up, it was only right to reference and link to this thread.

I'm pretty sure someone saw that link and came here.

Yeah, ElMech's original post was great to read, and helps me connect the dots with my own experience. He'd reached the realisation in Aug 2012 that I hit in September 2015 in this post: once you reach a certain age and a deep level of emotional state control, a regular girlfriend is just going to subtract value from your life.

Roosh speaks of the same fatigue a couple of responses later:

Quote:It's a matter of tolerance and that comes from having ten lifetimes of experience chasing women in one. I suspect that men are made to deal with a certain limit of female energy and when he goes over, he just gets tired of them. Some men can handle a lot more than others but he will hit the limit eventually and his interactions with women will actually DECREASE his horniness.

Since three very sexually-experienced men on the forum share similar observations, (as well as a few offline conversations with mates), I can see a pattern is forming. I'm relieved it's not just me.

Oddly enough, I went to Hamburg to live with an old mate to escape drama, only to have to come back to Australia with him to help with his brother's illness and, sadly, death. That's cool, I understand by now you can always expect disruption to your plans, and it'll only put me out for a short amount of time.

The difference is: I am happy to do that for him and delay my personal desires for six weeks, because it's a genuine life trauma, not the deliberately self-inflicted drama a woman creates for herself to make her life seem more interesting than it is. El Mech can see that drama for what it is in his original post.

So, yeah, in my opinion: good bumping.
