I've seen various members pound on the importance of context, so I want to start this thread off right: I'm 6'1", fairly ripped (180lbs with a sixpack), good looking face, solid posture, good style, late 20's. Objectively, I'd say I'm in the top 5% of looks, ie generally the best looking guy wherever I go but not supermodel quality. I won the genetic lottery, I know it, and I use it to my advantage.

I've been spitting game for ~6 years ever since "the Game" came out. In that time I've consumed a massive amount of pickup material. One precept I embraced was "bang a lot of chicks to get experience so you're prepared to deal with super hot chicks." I didn't just embrace it; I went buck wild.

Now a few years and a ton of notches later, I feel like whatever value banging 6's and 7's offered me has been gained. If I bang a 6/7 now, it's as a slump breaker or because it was an easy layup (being two points higher than them on the looks scale translates into some very, very easy lays). Don't get me wrong; they provided invaluable experience as I was learning. But I'm passed that point now.

So here's the question for you guys who on the right side of the looks bellcurve who've put in your time and gotten high notch counts: do you feel like pursuing 6/7's is holding you back? Or does it still have value? And what is your approach to meeting the superhotties, like 8.5+?

I remember Roosh mentioning something along these lines about apathy before he started flagging.

Personally, I'm on the verge of putting myself on a strict 8+ only regimen to force myself to pursue hotter girls. My current pseudo main dating relationship (more than a FB, less than a gf, but not really anyone else in the picture) is an 8.5/9 and holy shit does that make all the difference in the world in terms of my ability to stay interested in her.

It sounds like a plan to me. If you really feel like there's less value in banging around in the 6/7 range, I'm all for you making the decision to be more selective and test yourself at the upper range of the scale.

One thing though...I'm assuming you've stayed interested in your 8.5/9 because she's pleasant to be with, and not just because she's hot. You may deal with more attitude among the upper range, and sometimes it's nicer to deal with a pleasant 6/7. That isn't backsliding - sometimes you just want some stress-free pussy.

To be honest I think I am a bit like you, but younger and earlier in my game. However what I've been finding is this. A girls face is really only half of her hotness to me. And through clothes you can sometimes tell how hot she is, but its not until you get her naked that you really know how hot a girl is. So I think 1 night stands with 6's and 7's is fine. You could find one with the PERFECT rack or PERFECT ass, and to me that's completely worth the trouble. Not to mention what timoteo said about hotter girls have more attitude and are higher maintenance. Also it's really nice to be the prize from start to finish, and with 6's and 7's its easily doable.

Honestly I have never gotten used to being an asshole to girls and I don't really want to involve girls in my life that will only attract me enough to fuck them once or twice because I'll feel guilty if they keep calling me and messaging me. Plus I do not feel like I am making progress when I don't see the quality of the girls I'm fucking rising.

When I did crazy stuff like fuck 5 new girls in one month I was on kind of a high from it, but it's a lot of people to either deal with or ignore and I think I can move on from that quantity stage and go for only top quality.

The notion is that you fill your days of the week fucking 6's and 7's on the first or second date and going for ONS with 6's and 7's on the weekends instead of putting in the hard work and taking the risk to go for the very hottest girls

It depends on what kind of guy you are.

Some want to jump with no safety net. They don't find themselves until losing their jobs and having nothing to fall back on.

Other guys think it's crazy to look for a better job unless you currently have a good job.

No right or wrong answer.

Do what feels good for you.

Sometimes I'm alright with high quality, sometimes I just want to smash any boner inducing chick.

That being said few things amp your game up more than going trophy hunting so if tighter game its your goal go for it

i want be around cute/hot girls only and cold approach pickup is just a tool that allows me to get it. therefore i prefer go to the best venues, take risk, meet few hot hot girls and date them as long as i can. this is why i learned the game, to be able to meet girls i couldn't before. many dates with different semi attractive girls was ever appealing to me.

sure girls come and go so i still go out and meet them but it's more minimalistic approach aka.. a lot of fun/small talk interactions, few REAL interactions, 1-3 of them hook, done.

Update: I took MikeCF's approach and tried it out for awhile to see how it went. Here's how it went.

Shortly after I made the original post I dropped the 8.5/9 I was dating because she tried pushing for a more committed relationship...the same night I banged her in the ass for the first time and she said "go slow, it's been at least a year." That was the nail in the coffin for me.

Around this time I also spent ~2 months experimenting with different daygame styles, mostly Krauser Direct and Paul Janka Fast Closes (I'll post about that another time).

Without going into details, I spent a TON of time doing pickup, sometimes around 15-20 hours a week. It got to the point where I was seeing the same girls over and over and the mallcops definitely recognized me. And what did I have to show for it? Not much.

I definitely wasn't even getting much solid 8+'s, let alone 9's. Eventually I went back to getting some 6/7 slumpbusters on rotation to avoid having to beat my meat/start losing confidence in my skills, but WTF.

I will fully admit my tendency to puss out on the approach goes up when the girl is super hot, so that accounts for some of my failure, but that can't be all of it. What I noticed was that there simply wasn't enough volume of 8+'s, and the ones I did stop overwhelmingly were already taken. I could literally sit in the mall at peak hours (2-4pm Sat/Sun, look it up on Google) and see maybe 1 chick by herself that I was truly interested in.

Guys from bigger cities, what's your experience? How much is it my need to STFU and tighten my game, and how much is the hand I'm dealt living where I do (Nashville)?

If there are a bunch of chicks like these, sounds like you need to approach more.
If there aren't a bunch, or you get AA when you approach a 8.5+, you need to work on that, by either traveling, or moving.

This is a problem of quality though. Do I keep driving my Benz, or do I shoot for the Ferrari?

^ If I was "model" goodlooking and ripped/jacked as you say, I would be busting my ass to move to a warm/beach city where I could use that to the fullest advantage. Probably more 9/10 girls in those places than in nashville anyway, although for me the southern accent can add a lot to a girl's hotness

You're fighting an uphill battle against numbers. You said you like to target top tier girls which is going to be a small percentage of women anywhere you go. Have you tried your local university campus(es)? It's probably your best shot in terms of concentration of young and attractive women. I get told I'm handsome often, but I'll be the first to admit that if I restricted myself to top tier girls there would be a lot of lonely nights with my palm.

Go for it. So many guys wouldn't even consider approaching 8+ girls. I recently settled for my last couple lays and you don't feel any sense of accomplishment banging a 6. Your approach for super-hotties should be exactly the same as you would for a 6.

Go for quality.

I'm not too good looking, but I have the height, build and base genetics to be classed as such by certain types of women who happen to be ridiculously hot. However, I wouldn't be banging these girls if I wasn't already holding myself to a higher standard. Dude, always go for quality. You have better stats than me and I'm banging one of the hottest girls I've ever laid eyes on.

I can't stress that enough so long as you have the looks and a complementary good standard of Game to pull it off.

Furthermore, once you start pulling the hot girls, they'll catch on to this. They'll understand that you're a man who gives value and so only wants the girls who provide him with that value. They will appreciate your selectivity, trust me.

I agree. I got addicted to one fuck buddy's body. Not the most incredible with clothes on, but by damn she was fine once the clothes all came off.

There's a lot of talk here about guys being intimidated when approaching the girls in the higher echelon of looks. This is bullshit. My motor starts going when I see a higher level girl. I see it as more of a challenge. Within the first few minutes of conversation I'm probing her to see "How hard/What is it going to take to fuck this girl." If she mentions her ex, the club scene, how much she guzzles vodka/whiskey its game on. If she starts talking about family, education, etc. its going to take a few dates.

The best way to think about them is this way. "What else do you have going for you?". The hottest girls I've dated, LTRd, and banged were because I completely disregarded their looks, and found another quality they possessed to hone in on. Now this may be difficult for the average blonde american attention whore, but if you find a way to make her qualify herself to you in conversation the battle is half over. Being disinterested is key also. If you've got doe eyes when you approach you're dead in the water. I guess the cycle is self perpetuating though because the only way to become acclimated to these chicks is to fuck girls on their level, and the only way to fuck girls on this level is appear nonchalant.

You see these girls much less than the average girl, so why would you hesitate approaching? You may never see someone as beautiful as her again! What do you have to lose?

NOTE: Its also best to meet these girls OUT OF THEIR ELEMENT. Not in bars, not in clubs, but at events, social circle game, and daygame. Festivals, shows, farmers market, grocery store.

This is all spot on in my experience.

The hottest chick I've ever been with was a legit 9.5, borderline 10.

Tall, blonde, D cups, flawless skin, beautiful face. Basically perfect looking. When I'd go out with this girl literally everyone, male and female, would turn their heads to stare at her. She was that hot.

I didn't know it when I first met her, but she had been in show biz for awhile and was a minor celebrity. She's got a wiki page and an imdb.

I'm not saying this to brag, because it was basically dumb luck that I pulled this girl at all (right place, right time while she was rebounding from a broken-off engagement), and our fling only lasted a couple of months.

I just bring this up to point out that the ONLY reason I was able to pull this girl was because I was able to disregard her looks and connect to her on a "deeper" (in her mind) level.

In her case it was talking about spirituality/new age shit (which I've found a LOT of hot girls are into, by the way. I think it's worth reading up on for players going after big game).

I basically did not even make any effort to impress her or compliment her whatsoever. Once I found out about her background I knew that she'd been exposed to hundreds of wealthy, powerful alphas and that she was accustomed to receiving compliments about her looks on a daily basis. In that case my only shot was to do the opposite.

So I pretty much entirely ignored the fact that she had been in show biz and was off the charts hot.

My strategy was to talk to her about the kind of shit that no other guy she had been around was talking about.

These super hot girls are not used to being taken seriously. They're used to being totally objectified for their looks. If you can make them feel like you're connecting with them on an intellectual/spiritual level, that's something that they rarely get a chance to experience, and really sets you apart.
