I don't get the sentiment, but I suppose it's all subjective.

If she just met you, then laugh, smile, and move on.

You either buy her a drink and have enough game to close her or one of her friends, or you don't. Simple.

If you're commonly asked "buy me a drink," you may want to reassess your appearance/body language/vibe.

Pulling high-end women at bars/clubs (in my experience) is about being able to brush off a seemingly-fly yatch like it's nothing (which it should be) and move on to the higher-level trim, who'll usually have more to say to start with. Oh, and if a woman sees you brush off some 8 like she's trash, there's a substantially higher chance that she'll sleep with you.
