The use of the work "LIKE", the attitude, it's all there. Albeit in a somewhat milder form than we have today. Now the "valley" has gone global...

Valley Girl by Zappa came first.

He had his 14 year old daughter use valley speak in the chorus of the song as satire, but it instead the "language" went mainstream
