I might be talking out of my ass here, but I'll give it a go explaining this.

Which situations cause stress from the evolutionary perspective? A lack of food, one would imagine. As such, having bigger women would be good in terms of the group's survival chances... more fat to burn before starvation.

(Also see the Venus sculptures from the Ice Age - might be related).

Of course under modern conditions these dynamics become all perverse and fucked up.

Even on a good day, I often see an especially hot chick and think, "Man, I'm not in the mood for her bullshit."

I call them station wagons they get you where you need to be not in style but gets the job done.

I have some hotter girls in retarded dating pool right now and yes they're a pain in the ass. In Western culture, everything has to be "proven" through research. Not necessarily the scientific method, though. It there is a paper and some PhDs at the end, it is "true", regardless of the veracity or rigor of the study

Also, Western society, in the quest for social engineering, has swept observable truth under the rug. Thus you get supremely obvious studies saying men prefer .7 W-H ratios or... stressed out dudes want a quick, easy fuck (fat chicks). Well no shit. If the gatekeepers of polite society weren't so hellbent on denying the obvious, we wouldn't need any of these studies.

I think this is only partially true. Many stressed beta dudes out there want a comforting mother figure that will "feed" them, and a fat cow, for many centuries now, gives them the illusion of security.

I think people are over-complicating this - stressed out beta losers will overlook a lot of flaws and still find someone attractive, calm confident alphas don't have to. Did we really need a study to tell us that desperate losers will fuck anything? Another mystery solved.
