Well i am not an asshole. I am helpful and a Teamplayer. In computer games i usually play the supporter. Knowing and doing my job but i do not feel worth less than any other teammember.

As i started reading i realised that the "alpha male" is an asshole and i had no problem becomeing one.

Now i followed Roosh tweet a while and noticed he dont seems to be a jerk at all. He seems quite friendly. Am i wrong that alpha is a everyone hated ass or do you guys simply develope to "faces" one for girls one for the rest?

There isn't really a clear definition of an "alpha male". But for me, alpha male is someone who's confidence goes through the roof and he really loves himself, and he also doesn't take shit from anyone. But, at the same time, he is a charming, fun, relaxed guy, and insults don't hurt him. For example, if a girl tells him he's a jerk or an asshole, he just smiles at her and says "Nah, I'm really the nicest guy you've ever met" because he doesn't need to prove he's tough or alpha. In contrast, a real jerk (or an alpha poser, if you like) gets mad when someone teases or insults him, and he wants to land an imaginary punch to teaser's ego to "prove" his toughness and alphaness.

Overwhelmingly, yes. The alpha is the guy who sleeps with a lot of women / is very attractive to women, and most (western) girls get off on guys being assholes to them. It's a vicious circle.

You're right that Roosh is a very nice guy, but he is a very nice guy in the general life sense (cultured, talkative, generous, open-minded, etc), not sexual. In the latter regard, I get the gist that he is very adaptable, and that includes being an asshole to girls if it means getting laid. I've become like that too.

Probably one reason why i posted here too is that i don't really got the alpha male chapter also i read it like 4 times. Not the fault of the book it just somehow slips away all the time. What i remember...

The alpha male is:

Self confident (happy with himself for his own reasons not what other think of him)
Does not care of others opinion (if someone does not like him its the problem of the other)

What i dont get:

Is there a way how a alpha male learns... the self confidetion says "im perfectly happy with myself" and every learn effect seems to violate it...

Yea i i noticed in his last chapters he does not give very much about womens desires in the bed

To beeing an asshole to girls i have to say (without to disagree to the rule in general and feel free to argue about it) dont forgett to look before if she wants to sleep with you already. I made that misstake... well i have a LOT to learn but im quck in it.

None taken. Reading about alphas in Bang a listening to our advices is good to an extent, but to really become an alpha you need to go out and approach, approach, approach! Approach like mad for a year or so, get rejected and get used to it. The more you do it, the less you give a fuck and more confident you are. You should also go to gym (because of the testosterone you get from exercising) and learn dancing. In about a year or two, you will have the Vibe (described in Bang) flowing through you naturally. Practice makes perfect!

I never had a problem with that part (aproach). The problem is holding the conversation.

What (i think) helps to the approch part is to buy a bag of ice on a hot day... stand somewhere where people come thorough (for example subway exit) and ask random people if the would like an ice. Giveing an ice for free may let u appear beta but for the purpouse of learning aproaching its ok. NOT TO ACTUALLY APROCH GIRLS!!!

puts her in check. If she does right then he praises her. He keeps order over his crew and his family.
He's a man not a little boy. That's my take on it.

Well, if only problem is that you run out of things to say, and you aren't afraid to approach, then you're already close. I had that problem not knowing what to say, but the way I overcame it is talking to everyone (to the cashier, asking a stranger directions, little banter with a bartender...). Just initiate a basic convo that lasts max. 2 minutes ie. if the bar is empty, ask a bartender "Is the bar always empty like this".

Holding the conversation is an art. Women will try to rattle you or back out as soon as they can. Part of the problem with modern women is that if they don't find you attractive at first they throw up the bitch shield right away. That's why a social circle is so important. Cold approaching an 8 or 9 in a bar is tough but at a party is much easier. She doesn't want to act like a royal cunt in front of all her friends and other men.

Women are dipshits anyway. You have to dumb down the conversation to keep their attention. Very rarely can I find a woman to talk to on my level. It's a very pleasant surprise when I do.

Tanks for the hint. You are right it does not even have to be a women at all to keep conversation up.

Guess i just need a little pratice (and read the alpha male chapter 20 more times)

Not my experience... I had girls helping me to maintain conversation several times... almoused every time i failed anyway....

I think u cant say it for the entire world. Im german (what makes the G of garnic a little tricky ). And after what i heared from u im glad i dont have to talk with ur girls

and girls who are that bitchy are not my type anyway so i just go.


Edit: I think my other problem is that im to "afraight" to touch or get intimite. But i will post an other thread some day. Dont want to disturb the forum buy makeing my own "all around me" thread xD

No problem. Remember, women are basically grown up childs, you can say anything, as long as it's said with confidence. Once I said "Wow, you have the same beer as me (the beer she bought is popular here), are you trying to copy me?", and it worked out beautifully! Better to go on the side of too much boldness than to go on the side of too little boldness. When you're more bold with her, if she doesn't like you, you've just saved yourself about 30 minutes of unnecessary work. If she does like you, you just accelerated the process. Just learn not to be bold too early (initiating kino - another word for touching, after 10-15 minutes into the convo is good).
