Athlone you'll be fine. For average joe it's bad advice but if you're at an ivy, go for the money. I had minimal game before graduation (few girl friends and sloppy sorority type shit).

End of the day if you can make real money it's always worth it. Just don't think money buys bitches.

That said, I don't really think you chase money over women, even if you say you do. You post on these forums. You find the time to bang new chicks. That's not putting money over women.

For example.

I spend 50 hours per week working, and another 20 hours per week gaming chicks.

That's not what I would call placing money > women.

Putting money > women means you spend 50 hours per week working, and another 20 hours per week developing a business on the side. When you truly, truly, believe that spending ALL of your time on money will yield you more results with girls, only then will you see how wrong the statement of "Money > Women" actually is.

I did the money > women thing, to the point where I would never go out, I cut off all partying, I would avoid dating just to get ahead... boy what a waste of time that was.

Yeah read that thread it's great. I see where you are coming from. If he means spending 100 hrs a week working, yes that's a bad idea unless you've got some serious ideas rolled up your sleeves.

However giving up a couple months to get that promote or what have you, makes complete sense.

When guys get to some age, different for everyone, let's say 50, and they have a nice pile and a draining job.

The job is sucking the life out of them, and they keep doing it for-- what? I was too tired to game chicks, pursue my music and do my boring job.

They should be spending the energy chasing women.
