The Search for The Perfect Fit
Hey everyone, newbie here, excited for the start of my last year of college. Things haven't been awful in uni, but I think the lessons I've learned from the pick up community should help me a lot. Getting ready to slay lots of biddies my senior year.
Anyway, I'm in the process of changing my body and style right now. Hitting the gym and all that. Gutted my wardrobe and starting anew. I'm on the basics right now. Got a question though: I went and looked for some T-shirts today, but for the life of me couldn't find one that fit. I went to JCrew, Gap, Zara, Express, Lacoste...every T-shirt I tried on that fit me in the shoulders was too damn long. As in the T-shirt would cover up my ass. I sort of want my T-shirts to hang just below my belt.
I'm short waisted but I wear my jeans and chinos at my hips anyway. I'm about 5'10'' so a bit short but I didn't think it'd make this much of a difference.
I could just buy up some cheap T-shirts that fit my shoulders from Target, then take them to a tailor. Not sure how much the tailor would cost though...
So what have you guys discovered? T-shirts are the basic must haves of a wardrobe I think, but it's hard to find a good fit. Anyone have the same issue? Anyone know of any vendors that crop their t-shirts a bit shorter than average?
And just in general:
What is your body type and what brands seem to cater to that?

RE: The Search for The Perfect Fit
Levis sells a "50s Tee" that fits quite well. But they can be a little tight up top if you are broad shouldered and/or have decent press weight. I have found no-brand t-shirts at target that fit properly, but they were chance encounters.
I have found in the last few years, much to my chagrin, that if you are trim yet fit it is now extremely difficult to buy mid-price clothing that fits properly. Everything is either for fat-asses or scrawny twinks. The stuff marked "slim fit" will be for some skinny-fat hipster with twig thighs and torso, yet *still* be too loose around the waist despite being too tight elsewhere. Hugo Boss Black for pants and Thomas Pink slim fit for collared shirts is the only winning formula I've found, I just wish it were cheaper.

Inches please and have fun your senior year! Get a JOB in fall, then Party all you want in spring. Nothing you learned in "uni" matters on the job. Guessing you're a kiwi!
37" chest
30" waist (true waist not hips)
25" arm shoulder joint to wrist bone, (couldn't do the sleeve length for a dress shirt one by myself, but suffice to say I have long arms in proportion to my body)
6.5" wrist
12" bicep
I'm 5 10, 155 pounds.
And thanks! I'm actually American haha, spent the last seven months abroad in London though. Picked up some of their lingo I guess.
