I concur with a lot of what ugslayer is saying. It's actually great for people with any sort of approach anxiety. You just start to love being rejected and knowing you can turn around and do it all over again.

The best thing about clubs is you know very quickly if she wants to fuck you or hear from you again. Simple test? Does she write her last name in your phone? Then slay on slayer!

There are always downsides:
1. Rarely improves talking game
2. Expensive on a relative basis can run up to $100 a night
3. Much more cockblocking by groups/dudes
4. Not very good for your health
5. Fatties may begin approaching. Last Saturday I had a fat one come up and "neg" me saying I was weird for being alone at a club. I simply told her "you can check up on me at 12 and let me know how weird I look. Talking to the wrong man. Smile

Then of course the upsides:
1. Practicing body language
2. Dancing game
3. Best place to SNL (this of course is my opinion)
4. 10+ approaches in a single venue (eg. large number of phone numbers as well)
5. Learning to control your alcohol consumption

But yeah clubs are terrible for people with big egos, weak dance floor game, poor logistics. I'll be retiring from the club venue in a month or so but I'll be returning yet again when venues crack. With all this said I'm starting to realize I should focus on day game now and challenge myself to move beyond the club scene!

I find I do much better going to more underground clubs where I actually like the music. If Im in some commercial club playing top 40 that I cant stand, my whole focus is going to be on macking and this can come off as needy for me.

I am probably one of the older dudes on the site and YES, there comes a times where the "return on investment" of clubs is not good. The key is hitting a club during a certain event in a city. At the same time (like someone pointed out), rooftop parties and the like are better. You can also visit dives (like someone else pointed out) BUT you may also increase the danger and you probably won't find that many 8's & 9's...but then again, you may find more chicks will fukk on the first night.

If you are residing in a big city, try clubs in smaller towns where you will stick out. For instance, I am in the DC/MD area but I may hit up a club in York, PA. For one, those chicks will KNOW you are not from there plus the drinks are probably cheaper and (at least in my case), I pretty much know I have more money than those guys in York, PA.....and the women will know.

Drawback....you WILL have to throw more fish back into the water...less of them in shape and/or with prettier faces.

I like to go out sober too, but my sticking point is acting like I don't give a shit on the dance floor when I'm sober - I can't bring myself to let loose like that. How do YOU do it?

it comes from experience.
basically GAME IS REFERENCE EXPERIENCES. only difference between me and you is that i did it more than you and got comfortable. that's it. the more you have it the better you are. it might sound intimidating to enter the venue all sober and chill, go to the dancefloor and dance but believe me after 2 weeks of doing that it's easy. not because you love it but because you know that you've been doing it for 2 weeks and it was fine. so when emotions are fucking with you head in the moment, you can recall how many times you did it before and you get you mind right instantly, you stop caring and it flows from there.

i can dance whenever i want, even now as i write it, it's just the matter of impulse or good music. doesn't matter who's watching. i've danced (i mean just moved to the music) on the street with a girl/on balconies/in the mall/etc.

i don't even go nuts that much, i'm not that dancing guy. i just enjoy the moment. it's like this.. hmm, there is loud music that helps me to get physical to a girl from the get go, girls look so cute and move sexy, i get some attention cause i'm relaxed and feel good.. sweet!

all it takes is to be relaxed and fun there. i don't dance actually. i just move how i want to move and very often link songs with my interactions like for example "sexy back" by JT is playing and i look at a girl and sing to her "come here girl.. come to the back.. " as i approach. she doesn't hear a word but she sees i'm fun and ok. and when we move together i sing more like "i'm bringing sexy back, yeah! them other fuckers don’t know how to act, yeah!" and she's laughing like crazy. it's not dancing it's more like moving together to the rhythm spontaneously.

clubs are all about fun. everything takes care of itself if you just have fun with girls but don't care at the same time. just don't care. just be happy dude happy dude who's not trying to get a validation or shit like that from dumb cunt. and when some girl blows you off and you just laugh and don't fucking care and it shows, other girls want to talk to you cause who doesn't want to talk to happy guy. some may object like "that's BS, getting blown out is not cool, others won't want to you, it's impossible.." but that's balc & white thinking. it all comes to how you feel about it and who gives less of a fuck. if a girl makes weird face, blows you off and walks off and you scream at her "nice to meet youuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!" or "i don't have swine fluuuuuuuuuuu!!!" and it's clear you don't care, you got big smile on your face, people think it's hilarious, like the joke is on her now, she's the stupid one. AND you come across high status like a motherfucker cause every other guy gets affected but you. so then you talk to other girls there and now you're that cool motherfucker who gets a lot of attention. but when you give a fuck you're not gonna get anything.

XXL we should go out clubbing! You're pretty much in line with what I do up in there cept I usually have 2-3 drinks. Also when I get blown out I simply walk away and have a bounce to my step as if it was fun! She just turned down the most interesting guy in the damn place so jokes on her!

Excellent points made by XXL. I'm not the most nimble guy when it comes to dancing but I've realized that just going on the dance floor and doing a few basic moves and smiling/conveying a happy vibe works.

I just dance by myself for a few minutes and it does not take more than 10 minutes before I have a girl dancing with me.

I'm with Houston on this one to a certain point. Hitting 25, 26 you start to realize the club isn't the same it was when you were younger. You see the little boppers out there giggling, 6's think they are tens, attention whores but once you become aware of your surroundings the club can be pretty easy to pull.

First you go through all the groups to see which sets are waiting to be hit on. If your clothes are on point, it isnt hard to dress better than 90% of the other swinging dicks in there. IMO a solid 25-40% want somebody to holla at them. 2-7% want to go home with somebody. My job is to find that 2-7%. Sometimes all it takes it looking the part. Game isnt needed when that inhibition is good and the night is over. A wingman can be good at the club but as always its the right one.

Approach and dont give a fuck and the club could be better than bars. I just started going to bars when I moved to Brownsville. Im always dolo so to me clubs are easier dolo than bars. In the end its your preference. All I know is all take anything right now over being locked up on base haha.

i've noticed that many guys, especially those who think they're 'above' hate clubs cause they hate that chaos and think clubbing is kind of unfair. and i can understand that cause to some extent it's true hahaha

club pickup is like a 'glitch in the matrix' thing. let's face it.. the biggest loser with no friends/cash/hobbies/car, playing starcraft all day every day in his grandma's basement can take a shower, leave his lair around 1am, go to the big loud ass nightclub, hit it up like crazy to find fast the most slutty/drunk bitch and take her outside to her place or just to the park or an alley and fuck her raw there. and then some well rounded guy in the same club sees some slug pulling a girl in 2 minutes and stands there pissed as fuck cause he's been working on his sweet little suzie for good 2 hours and she's still on the fence hahahahaha.. so yeah that can be frustrating.

just this saturday.. i was an inch from pulling a quite cute girl from the street around 3am just because i happenend to walk beside the exit of this hot club that girls were walking out of. i hit hit hit, it was going really good for 10 minutes they're about to split and then her friend felt bad and started throwing up.. i became quite irrelevant in that situation. shit : )

Clubs are great to snipe. Look for the girl who is having trouble pretending she's having a good time... she'll be on the edge of the dancefloor looking lost. Stand next to the bathroom. Stand at choke points.

I agree with the sentiment here... clubs suck. But it's not too hard if you put thought into it. Even the loudest club in the world has a quiet spot where you can pull. Wear earplugs. Go to a club and hack that shit. There's girls that want to get laid. Find them.

Guys I'm 33.. pulling girls 10+ years younger on college nights.. while solo. Just suck it up and put the time into it. Unless you got dates lined up on Friday and Saturday nights, go and put in that work.

I wrote about this in my dance guide.

My favorite dance club...

...can't be found on google maps unless you zoom in all the way.
...has a minimum 20 min line running out the door till an hour before closing time.
...is only $5 to get in.
...has some of the best DJ's in town. The music is so good I go just to listen to the music sometimes.
...has girls under the age of 24 packing the floor; ratio's are 1:1.3 on average nights, 1:.8 on good nights, and 1:2 on bad nights.
...has no tables.
...has $5 drinks, and goes up to $20 drinks.
...allows all styles; you can go suited up and meet classy chicks, you can go dressed like a rocker and pick up hipsters, you can go dressed like a regular joe with a button down and be a wallflower, or you can go dressed in jeans and a T shirt so you can dominate the dance floor and get the hot chicks.
...holds a maximum of around 100 people.

If your club doesn't look like mine (doesn't need to be exact), you are wasting your fucking time bro.

I used to think that clubs were the center of game. The only scenario were pulling was really considered a "good game experience". I haven't been to a club in months, I basically agree with all you said, and I'm only 21 years old.

I both love and hate clubs.

Because I grew up during the heyday of 50 Cent, Lil Jon, and about 1,000 other rappers who only rapped about how awesome clubbing was: I couldn't wait to sneak into my first night club (all the shitty college town ones by me are pretty lack about checking Id's). And at the time (I was 17ish) it was awesome. Now, a mere two years later, I don't really care about clubbing too much. I mean I still enjoy going to them on occasion, but most of my bangs come more from daygame than from going to night clubs. Also I've noticed that American clubs always seem to be infested with dude gaggles (those hordes of eight or so guys in a massive swarm, all wearing Affliction and Ed Hardy clothes) and bitchy girls on their iphones. Also American clubs always seem to play gay ass music.

On the other hand, I do like going clubbing (and pretty much do so every night) when I'm outside the States. It's cheaper and (probably due to lack of iphones) the girls are more open to being approached. Also I've gotten quite a few bangs out of meeting girls at clubs, and I find that they're a pretty easy place to get an SNL.

I've also started to run "evening" game, where I do approaches earlier in the night (before any clubs open) and then go to a club with the girl (this has been working well, because it encompasses aspects of both day and night game). Once college starts I'll probably turn this into my bread and butter routine.

Everything XXL is saying is spot on. I think this is why its easier for me to do good in clubs when I'm traveling and solo, having the peace of mind that if I make a fool of myself, nobody I know will ever find out, its all about me. This makes it alot easier for me to loosen up and just have fun. Because if your concerned with how everyones thinking about you, the game is lost already. You have to bring the fun, energetic, who gives a shit vibe every single time. For people like me who have a hard time doing this, yeah we're going to like daygame better. Just study everything XXL said and know what your getting into, or your better off staying home.

Go out dressed like you would for a night out with the same attitude and street approach chicks coming out of bars asking them where a good bar/club is and if done right go with them to the spot. My cover story would be that I'm visiting town with some friends. We all just had dinner but they were lame/I'm looking to experience some local nightlife.

Agreed 100%.

Another thing I can think of people hating club game is that they go out way too much and do not concentrate their energy.

I remember I used to go out 3-4 times a week and I will only have real fun 1 maybe 2 times. The other times I will either get wasted or just lame.

Concentrate your energy and go out less but harder!...I always hit the gym before going clubbing, the pump gets me going.
